It did hurt a little bit as her teeth were unceremoniously removed, but it was all worth it to see the expression on her face as she toppled into the snow. She cursed loudly, and Elwood released her tail as well -- he made sure that she had officially conceded before doing so.

He whooped, doing a jig that involved ducking his head and crow-hopping to the left and then to the right. "Lucky, maybe...but a lucky winner!" he replied, pausing in his victory dance to stick his tongue out at her. She seemed to be a sore loser, and while he was enjoying his success, he didn't want to rub it in too much -- he remembered how terrible it felt when his sister would tease him.
