The way you did it is fine! I rolled for Fox's (continued) attack here. To clarify, Fox hasn't drawn blood yet. :)

The small, young wolf tried to bite at her legs, but the girl's attack was unsuccessful. The trespasser only managed to catch mouthfuls of air, and Fox tightened her grip on the girl's scruff, putting the whole of her weight on top of the girl. Maybe, just maybe, if she stopped struggling, Fox would give her a chance to run far, far away from the caldera. But the more she fought back, the more likely Fox was to draw blood. If the girl submitted, showed remorse for her actions, Fox would chase her off. But if she kept on going the way she'd been going, Fox would have no choice but to bite to kill.
