Since I only rolled a 2, I'm going to say Fox lost her grip. :o

The trespasser's feet flailed about, and Fox growled savagely, her grip loosening with each passing moment that the girl continued to struggle. This was stupid, and Fox did not understand why the small wolf had such a death wish. Was she trying to get herself killed? Again, the small wolf thrashed, and Fox lost her grip, coming out with only tufts of fur and blazing eyes. “I’m going to fucking kill you!” she spat, and once again lunged for the female. The girl evaded her just in the nick of time, and Fox reeled, bracing herself for a likely attack.
