Great Bear Wilderness From the pits of Mordor
"Just because something isn't a lie does not mean that it isn't deceptive. A liar knows that he is a liar, but one who speaks mere portions of truth in order to deceive is a craftsman of destruction."

Set at night

He had a feeling that Mara would be back, with a vengeance. That feeling was bolstered by the fact that he scented her, that slave-girl he met before, and someone else at their borders. He went on their trail for a very long time, his fangs itching to sink into her skin like he had with Keithen, but the trail went cold.

The assassin shrugged, exhaling a huge gust of air. They were lucky the had escaped him, or else, they might have landed in a world of pain, from the pits of hell themselves. He looked around, trying to find his surroundings, his icy eyes meeting their matches in the cold, dark sky. The stars looked much more beautiful in the winter. Something in the atmosphere made their glow cold and crisp, yet brighter. He sat their for a brief moment and admired them, his breathes slow and even in the air.
