Runt's bright eyes were wild, he could see she was full of energy and ready for a fight, "Yeah, Sure, I'll tell ya." she said. Wyeth knew how little ones felt, they didn't like being weak and they didn't like admitting failure, so he made no comment but made a mental note in his head to keep an eye out for her. He did not need an angry and maddened Mara at his heels when she worsened her anger because of the spar she had with him, he did not need to get kicked out of Whitewater Gorge before it was even formed.

Watching the girl carefully, he spoke Yes, come at me. Wyeth began moving around the sparring arena, circling his opponent which was the tawny Juvenile, Runt. Even with the energetic spirit the young girl had, her wounded ankle would bring her down and though she probably had experience with fighting, he had lived longer than her and had more experience. So he was sure he would be able to win, and he had to win, to show her she wasn't invulnerable, to show her she was beatable and not be afraid of losing. But to embrace it and learn form his mistakes.
