She could have been sent by the soldiers of Jokhang to finish the job they had failed to. If that were the case, then he would be the cocky one. He would assume that she was no threat to him. Were she to prove him wrong, she would be the first whose blood he would shed in these Wilds.

The man set back his shoulders and issued no more than a grunt. He sank back to his haunches, a heavy movement that resounded with a thud in the snow.
