They walked in a companionable silence for a while. Peregrine switched between gazing at the lovely views and his even more lovely mate. They loved the caldera, though it was good to steal moments like this all the same. It would be even harder to do once the pups came, though Peregrine was sure they would succeed where he and Hawkeye had failed, dismally.
