For a good moment Katrina was astounded that she had run into this strange, unearthly boy again but as soon as he spoke out to her that feeling flinched, then disappeared. Well, he certainly was very good at deterring any sort of friendship away from him; but, Kat was persistent and she was not the type to bail out on him unless he did it first.
