Crescendo smiled and lay down beside her, returning the favor before taking a small bite out of the rabbit. It tasted good, but he wasn't the hungry-yet. He was content with watching little shadow eat.

Unknown to him, Kadence threatened to destroy the cold armor he had but up around himself. The fridgid wind in his heart blew itself out when he was with her, and a new emotion, unknown to Crescendo before, lingered in the deepest reaches of his heart.
