Crescendo looked to the spot where the thing had dived, but a patch of thick brush hid the thing from view. He looked to Kove again, eyes inviting him to follow. Crescendo stalked towards the spot, careful not to make a sound. The thing flew, which meant it was some sort of bird. However, Crescendo had never seen a bird so white and so large.
