Wanderlust was certainly the thing that had afflicted him. It was something that thrummed lowly in him, even now. Though in a sense, Mordecai had seen most of what there was to see. He had crossed deserts, he had seen the ocean. He had climbed over mountains and nestled down in valleys. But no two structures were ever really the same thing and who knew what secrets they kept locked within. For a moment, he matched her playful grin, musing on what sort of blessings and curses she really could bestow on the hunting grounds. More than likely, something beneficial.

"More mountains and valleys, mostly," he commented, letting out a breath. "There's a couple of major rivers to the north that I didn't dare cross over with this winter. Eventually came around to the coast and followed it back to here. More or less," he chuckled. There had been some breathtaking vistas, including some he would not have seen if not for the company he had kept during that time. "There's a few packs out that way too, but I still think this region takes the cake on that. How have things been for you?"
