Sea Lion Shores the ocean's lure

Roadkill's first instinctual response, after all that had happened, to the wolf's approach was to bare her teeth into a slobbering growl. However, the wolf was... was it smiling? Roadkill wasn't so sure, since it'd been pretty damn long ago since she'd seen a smile of any kind, 'cept for the ones the Owners at the lab threw her, anyway.

The wolf went into the water and started to swim, floating back and forth, getting closer to the shore and swimming further away again. Roadkill'd learned not to toy with the currents, and she didn't like going that far out into the ocean. "Oy, don't forget the currents' pull!" Ugh, why did she even care? The hoped the bloody wolves all dropped dead, anyway, so she'd not be in danger of being chopped to pieces by their fangs all the time.

Roadkill stayed in the shallows, where the waves tickled her stomach, and watched the wolf, curious if it would stay out far into the sea or get closer.
