Phantom gazed quizzically at the small dog. It spoke a dialect she found hard to follow, but it seemed to be something about triangles and ears. Oh well. Dogs were strange. She knew from experience that these where not good hunters, instead of hunting rabbits they chased them away!
The ghost motioned for the dog to follow her, some ways down the beach. Earlier, Phantom had found the remains of a seal of some sort, but hadn't been hungry. Now she was, and decided to share with the dog, if she wanted any. She ripped of a chunk of the flesh and placed it close to it, then trotted back to the seal carcass and began eating herself.
