The Beta male was okay with that; she posed no threat to him or his pack, and that fact was bolstered with the knowledge that she had met and received Peregrine's approval. He sniffed lightly, inhaling her scent with little effort and noting that she smelled of other wolves. It wasn't a pack that he recognized -- though he certainly wasn't an expert, only knowing very little about the packs in the immediate vicinity as well as the Sunspire in the north.
