Sea Lion Shores forever young

the gal woke up with a start, disoriented, her thoughts fuzzy. it felt as if she had just woken up from a strange dream, sort of. but this was now reality, she could tell. her clear blue orbs blinked up at the cloudy blue sky, squinting as a beam of warm sunlight streamed into her eyes. um... what?

where had she been earlier? she recollected memories of a friend she'd met, cara, talking to a bird, flying with her, cannonballing into an icy lake, redhawk caldera, a stench of skunk spray... then what? prima didn't really remember much more. so she set off with a shrug.

where was she? she was by an ocean, she knew, but she had no idea how she had gotten here. she had no idea. but with a roll of her slim shoulder, she turned and waded down to the ocean. the waters were calm, for now.
