New children had been born to the Caldera. Cinar had never been the paternal type himself, but nontheless thought he should send his well wishes.
Not one to approach a new mother he instead went on a search for @Killdeer. He had thought to bring a gift, but his attempts to hunt had fruitless in the last couple days - the recent pollen was only making things further difficult for him in that department. He wasn't sure he could smell much of anything at all right now. But the children had plenty of family around, so he was sure they would be well spoiled without his help.
Cinar had realised that he didn't truly know much about the patriarch, so admittedly some of his reasons were selfish too.
