Redhawk Caldera Give in

His conversation with Towhee days prior had been surprisingly refreshing. Cinar felt reassured of his place, and about ten times more motivated.

He planned to visit Amalia and the pups later to discuss Towhee's ideas of mentorship, and his future in climbing the ranks. For now.. he was looking to pass the time, nothing more. The rest of the day had plans, so shouldn't he be taking the time now to relax?

Of course not!

If he stopped moving now, he would lose his momentum for the rest of the day. Pacing about the caldera, he considered the possibilities; caches to fill, borders to patrol, pack members to comfort.. there had to be something obvious to do.

This was the sound she blurted abruptly when she caught sight of a familiar face. Granted by now, basically all of the Caldera was familiar. A warm feeling built up in her that relieved itself in the form of a wagging tail.

I owe a walk together!

And she had come to cash in on that now. If he was not too terribly busy, of course.

As though his indecision had been sensed, Trailhawk suddenly joined him. Trailhawk! He smiled, tail waving behind him in greeting. I'd love a walk. He'd nearly forgotten that he had made the promise to her.

How have you been today? She certainly seemed to be in high spirits. Had something particularly good happened?

Gesturing for her to follow, he began a comfortable pace up to the rim of the caldera. They should make use of the morning's fresh air.

Oh, good, she would not be denied! Which was a thought meant in good humor.

Easily she fell into line with him. Of course, her thoughts traveled around as they did. She thought of the many things she could tell him. The hunting date with @Hotah or the discovered coyote head. Even her time spent with the Redhawk's youngest boy! Where did she begin?

Very good, She offered genuinely with radiant warmth. I am feeling...good! She gave a near euphoric laugh because there was no better word for it!

Cinar couldn't help but chuckle at her response. It was hard not to get swept up in her good energy. I suppose I'm good too. There wasn't much to complain about. I have a full schedule for this first time since being in my borth pack, I've missed it!

There was nothing more thrilling to him than a day where he knew exactly where to be each time he checked to see where the sun had landed in the sky. It was his art form! The perfect release!
