Chehlia moved with the grace of a queen but the confidence of an abused being. She was in search of her family, now, and she could not find them. Her stride was short, and her eyes seemed to touch every stone as though she were trying to move them with her mind. But here, she could not smell them.
She was confident she would find them, it was a just a matter of when. She prayed for sooner rather than later, but how could she know? How could she be sure? Her nose had not led her to them thus far... And her paws and limbs sched from travel. Something had to give. Chehlia was more than aware she would need to find a place to stay, given Winter was near here, but she aspired to find them, any of them, first.

The almost-nameless wasn't trespassing anywhere at the moment. She couldn't help but be relieved- it seemed like every grain of dirt belonged to some power-hungry alpha. But it sure was fun to trespass, seeing the pack wolf's reactions. It was extremely easy to get on their nerves. Now she came across a white canine. She watched the stranger for a moment- they seemed confused and lost, looking for something, perplexed. She walked up, a bit annoyed that there might be another pack wolf, but her scent didn't hold the scent of many wolves like other pack wolves. "You're not a pack wolf." She observed, it was her only greeting. Perhaps they would get along better because of this, but she couldn't be sure. They could still end up enemies, and the half-year old was pretty sure it depended on the other one's personality.

So immersed was she in her search that she nearly missed the others approach. But when Chehlia had heard the light-footed wolf, her head whipped in that direction and her eyes widened slightly. Chehlia knew she shouldn't be so nervous, there wasn't any real reason to be yet, but she had no support or no one to lean on, no anything. She longed for any one of her siblings to just appear, and willed it with all of her everything. It was not to be. And that was when the other spoke.
The Ostrega woman blinked, and nodded quickly, agreeing with the others statement. It would seem that the idiomatic cat had caught her tongue. Chehlia, even after smelling the other, could not be sure whether or not the tawny stranger in front of her was a pack wolf herself. There was a vast amount of scents on her, and there was not-a-one that indicated any one thing to her. She was too new to be sure whether or not one meant that the other was in a pack. The scents were foreign to her, and she was just a stranger in a strange land.

"Are ya okay?" Was this wolf mute or just shy? Either way the kid saw it as a problem. Mute- Well, you can't say anything. Shy- Too nervous to stand up for anything. "Is somethin' wrong?" She asked the lone wolf. "Don't worry, I'm a lone wolf too." She added. Ya can trust me, sort of. The kid wasn't much of a comforter or shoulder to cry on, but she could be nice to those her were nice to her. Rosebud.
