All Welcome
Mainly for @Goliath but happy for any backup to bounce in if they want to later

The itty bitty pretty wolf dashed along the snow, light on his feet but sinking into the white stuff nevertheless. He was cold; he had just fjorded a stream. He was damp and hungry. He was worried about his sister, although he knew his brothers could fend for themselves. Maybe he would find them here...

Cirrus wound onwards into an area that was awash with the strong scent of new beginnings. A pack! He had never had good interactions before, he was sure they would be no better now. He remembered the harsh words that had been thrown his way, about things he couldn't help and he twisted his lip in a bitter growl. Cirrus tossed his head daintily and ploughed onwards. He kept his body low as he pressed well over the scent markings, scenting the air in the hopes of finding a cache to steal.

Mind if I pp that Goliath is able to spot Cirrus? if not, ill edit it right out

Goliath, was merely patrolling the area, trying to get a simple routine going through the cold borders, as he wasn't clever enough to think of a actual defensive strategy. He had been filled up from food, and was becoming increasingly alert, Only when he noticed the snow being moved did he notice the smaller, grey wolf. He was actually kind of happy that he would be able to fulfill his first duty as a warden, and he quickly set his body low, although that didn't help much, and narrowed his eyes - He would see where the small one was headed, before he would intervene.

It took him a very short while to be bored of the act, and swooped down to intervene before there was any real danger against the pack's supplies. His large body took a while to catch up, and was hard to miss, but once close enough, he could easily address the intruder. To his surprise, it was a male, and yet, almost as old as he was. He shook his head, and set himself in a more intimidating pose. "Small one" he growled, "in Pack grounds" he continued, his eyes narrowing onto his target, his dumb words were still enough to state his mind. "Other not of Pack" he finished.

The thick hulking mountain heading towards him was about as invisible as a yeti. Cirrus's movements slowed, although he did not immediately let on he had spotted Goliath. He was weighing his options. He was a matchstick compared to this huge beast, but maybe he could play the pity card. He was a starving skinny teenager after all. At least he could be. Cirrus flashed an evil grin at no one in particular then wiped it from his lengthy muzzle as he stopped and turned towards Goliath who was now winging his way towards the intruder.

The man sounded as thick as crow - good job, maybe he could trick him. Cirrus immediately dropped into a quivering submissive posture. Fake but hopefully convincing. "Help! I'm being chased! I must find safety." Cirrus's weird ears drooped against his head as he shrieked in the most boyish voice he could muster. His curly grey fur dribbled along the snow as he crept a submissive pace towards Goliath, gazing at the monster's chest with plaintive brown eyes.

As he stood in front of the surprisingly younger, and thin wolf before him, he had to survey what he would do. The question was rhetorical, of course. He  would always do the same thing. Ram the opponent into a tree, until at least a rib is broken, then launch a lethal strike. To him, the thought was more Ram, Bite, Repeat, but it was always nice to think about it some more. Yet, this one was different, he was definitely a wolf, but there was something... awkward with his body, the weird ears, skinny frame and height were all unusual, but he didn't try and become distracted by that.

The white one dropped quickly into a posture which very quickly fooled Goliath into a fake sort of security, yet either way, he had the upper hand. He heard what the petty one had to say, and although he was convinced, as the blubbering idiot he was, he still had some sense of knowledge.

"What chase small one?" he said "Goliath crush", he continued "if no keep safety, crush you" he growled, the thing moved closer to him, and although he was tempted to kill the intruder, he would have to keep his loyalty above blood lust, and his queen(s) would not allow it.

At first he thought he had the dumb thing fooled... and he kinda did. But sugarfoot, now he had to make up an enemy?! Cirrus cast his dark brown eyes to the left and the right like a scared rat trapped by its tail. He gulped softly, cowardice welling in his throat. Realising that he needed to answer Lurch here as soon as possible or risk being stamped into a pulp, Cirrus grasped at the first thing he could think of. "Huge brown bear! Hurt my brother! Ran after sister! I escaped!" he whined, writhing a bit. Hopefully even a thicko this huge wouldn't risk a run-in with a fully grown brown bear.

Ironically, it was true about the bear attack (they had accidentally stumbled across her cubs), although it was a good week or so delayed from when it had actually happened. Cirrus kept his words short and simple, hoping to break through the other's bolchy temperament. Realising that he was no longer in line for stealing food, but rather was more likely to become it, Cirrus cast a wild look behind him and shouted: "Quick! Run! It's coming!" then without thinking the skinny hybrid attempted to dart past Goliath, and (inadvertently) head even deeper into Dragon territory.

Kindof wanted to start some conflict, so, mind if Goliath tries to catch him?
As the pale child began to run, he decided to follow, running after him. He would fight the bear, but would much rather keep the captive then lose track. Yet, after a while, he heard no steps behind him. With a bold move only a stupid one could do, he stopped and turned. Nothing. Only two tracks, and his temper built up in a fury. He turned towards the smaller wolf, which was already gaining a lead, he snarled "Liar...", and threw his entire weight into motion.

The building up of speed grew quicker, if anything the rage was burning away the pain of running. His huge clumsy self was pushing bast the branches on the sides, instead of simply dodging them, and with bloodshot eyes from rage, once he came close enough, he leapt for the back of the wolf, even if he missed, he would still be able to catch the tail if he was steady enough.

Sorry got so excited I didn't write a post. Trying to catch up here <3 xD /learning

The sprightly male ran, but he heard the lumbering buffoon following. There was a slight pause and Cirrus sped ahead as fast as he could go, but the snow was slowing him down. He was sure the giant didn't have this problem - he probably had legs that elevated him ten feet above the snow. There was a vicious snarl of words that he didn't quite catch and suddenly beast-boy was catching up.

Cirrus glanced back as he ran full-pelt, all of his bitterness shed aside in the hopes it would make him lighter. Fear was the only thing that pushed him forwards enough to avoid the bite to his tail. The realisation that he was now way too deep into pack territory hit him like a landslide. The whippet-wolf skidded to a halt and turned, attempting to swipe at his adversary's nose. He missed (clearly Lurch not as dumb as he looked) and Cirrus's fur bristled out as he realised he needed to do something quick or he was toast.

Without warning, the Goliath lurched forwards and rammed him. Cirrus yelped in pain and fell sideways. He scrambled up as quickly as he could, and blindly lunged forwards hoping to connect with the others' neck.

Not yet getting involved so feel free to not notice Thuringwethil and skip me as needed. <3

The scent takes her by surprise, her head instantly lifting in the direction it had wafted, and soon she hears thumping from down the way. He brows burrow between her eyes as she turns, looks for Snacha, but when she comes up empty handed, begins to investigate with a little speed to her step. The crunching of snow and dead foliage pulls her close and she sees a blur of willowy fur tailed by an agouti mess of brown.

When they collide together, Thuringwethil takes a few loping steps through untouched snow and circling the two wolves until she’s out of immediate sight. Goliath, one of the new wolves Gyda accepted into the pack, barrels all his force into the dainty looking creature. Red filters into her vision and she puffs out her chest at the fact another trespasser had been caught inside her borders.

The dark leader remains still in the background despite the urges to lunge forward and tear the delicate skin of the wolfhound. She waits to see what her subordinate would do as she slowly takes a few steps forward into the opening.

Oops, forgot to link it, here is the roll table,
Also, just noticed how much Goliath rams x,D

Through pure luck, Goliath had barely missed the attack on his nose - but that didn't halt him from ramming against the petite wolf. As he collided with the wolf, he immediately tried to crush them underneath the snow. He could hear the satisfying thump and the crunch of the snow behind it. Sadly, Goliath was too slow for the smaller one, and before he could attack him, Cirrus lunged for his neck. In pain, Immediately after contact, Goliath - in blind rage - ripped his own neck away from the smaller ones grasp, leaving a mark of blood where he had been hit.

He pounced against him, blood now spreading slowly on his mane. Goliath's body, like a body avalanche, slammed the smaller wolf back down. Keeping him down, he snarled "LIAR!" and before any words could come out, if they did, he held the silver males' neck in a jaw lock, and dragged him to the tree, where he would be able to ram the opponent against it

xD He's a battering ram alright. Hai Mica, glad you could join us*waves* :D

Success! He found himself half-dangling from the larger wolf's throat. The beast roared with rage. Then - as though pain was not an issue - Goliath simply ripped himself away from the the bite. With blood spraying everywhere, he bore down on Cirrus, and the smaller man had nowhere left to go. He fell under the weight of the defending guardian of Sleeping Dragon.

As he was being dragged bodily in a frog-march across the snow, Cirrus wondered whether his life was over. Although sounds were bubbling out of his mouth in an attempt to protest his 'innocence', he could not make any real words except gasps. As the word began to sway around him, Cirrus twisted and tried to swing his back paws upwards and rake at Goliath's belly. Maybe he would get lucky, and the shock would make him drop Cirrus. Unlikely when thinking back on how little the bite to the throat had affected him.

Mica pm'ed me saying that they wouldn't reply right away so just skip them in posting order for this round :c
The pain had only made him angrier, that was, until Cirrus had ripped the fur beneath his stomach, he had been foolish enough to leave it vulnerable, and before backing away from the smaller wolf, to rally himself, he allowed himself to bite the thick patch of fur by the ribs, where he could easily do some damage, but slowly retreat away from the scene.

As he stepped back to catch his own breath, he noticed the swelling around his neck, which had begun to burn much more than it did. Little drips of blood rolled down the side of his neck and onto the snow, where little dots of crimson would bloom on the cold, white ground. Usually, such an attack had no consequences, but as it was on his throat, which was way more susceptible to bleeding.

Slowly moving into a better position, he aligned himself with the base of the tree, so once ready he could just pile drive through what little remained. He re footed himself, snarled, and began to brace himself for the final impact, which he hoped would knock the last one cold, where he could drag the unconscious body away from pack grounds.

Sorry for the delay, been a bit busy; I know you will want to keep this moving as fast as poss :D Not looking good for Cirr xD

Cirrus was deposited like a sack of potatoes in the snow. Where Golaith was bleeding all over the snow, the silky-smooth Cirrus's injuries were mostly contained within. He could feel a tender point in his chest every time he breathed - he was pretty sure he had a cracked rib if not broken. He gasped in shallow breaths as he dragged himself off the ground. He could spot that Goliath had headed a little bit away, and appeared to be steeling himself. Cirrus was pleased to see that his opponent looked weaker than before.

Cirrus expected another charge was coming. With all the strength he had left, the lone wolf charged at Goliath in an attempt to play him at his own game. If he could catch the huge male straight away, perhaps he could topple him and escape. Cirrus felt his hit land, but he hadn't banked on the excruciating pain blossoming along his side. His sight was lost behind a black sheet of pain, and he stood momentarily stunned as his broken rib tickled his lung, teetering dangerously on puncturing the organ. He had no inclination to see whether he had knocked Goliath or not.

 Halp? o^o

Goliath was surprised by the rash final stand of his opponent, and the collision did have a rather large impact, to his shock. He staggered, and kipped over. His head took another hit from a rock hidden underneath a patch of snow, and as he got up, didn't notice the blood soaked fur on his scalp.

He was dizzy, and tried taking a second to re-calibrate himself. His vision began pulsing, and had to hold back vomiting. He became sick with pain, and was completely disoriented. Goliath, overall, felt a lot more tired. He balanced himself before aiming a bite to remove the trespasser and deliver the final blow. He missed, and instead fell partially on Cirrus, and partially on the cold hard ground. With his fading vision, he saw the dark eyes of one of his leaders. He nudged, and croaked "Remove.." before falling unconscious.

Thuringwethil barely had time to step forward, close enough to interfere, before the collision between the giant and the wispy-furred wolf. She circles the tussle to intercept once Goliath teeters back and forth a few times but she shuffles away once he’s fallen upon the intruder. She doesn’t have time to consider how someone looks so delicate could knock a brick of muscle unconscious but she doesn’t let it fool her.

Keeping Goliath as a paper weight, heda lifts her lips in a snarl as she angles herself, coming around the fallen wolf. A growl full of gunpowder shatters the space between them as she rushes forward, opening her jaws in an attempt to snatch the delicate looking creature from beneath her subordinate.

Cirrus heard the larger male through the painful thundering of hooves currently occupying his head. It sounded like Goliath was coming at him. Cirrus managed to squeeze one eye open in time to see the giant swaying unsteadily. Cirrus managed to dodge a clumsy bite aimed at his neck, but a yelp emitted from his muzzle as he felt another sharp stabbing pain in his side at the movement. Then he watched helplessly as the goliath began to topple, as if in slow motion, taking the trespasser down with his last conscious moments.

Whomever said war was glorious was an idiot.

With his back legs crushed under the weight of the male, Cirrus had a moment of thanks – he might just escape if he could manage to extract his back end. It was only then that he heard the snarl of a shadow . Crushing jaws came at him. Cirrus dodged as best he could, but he was pinned, and had no chance.

As her teeth met his flesh Cirrus fell limp in defeat. He had no chance, he could only await his fate.

skipping goliath as requested. we can do a round or two until they reply, if you'd like, so we can keep it moving?

When her teeth meet fur and skin and threat, she clamps hardest with the backs of her teeth and pulls, ripping him free of her giant. She stands there, his fur tickles the sides of her mouth as she heaves a few breaths. She doesn’t let him go, pressing him further into the ground and waits a few moments, glancing as far upward as she can.

Goliath remains on the ground. Useless.

Thuringwethil growls, dropping the wolf from her bite and a few time she snarls and barks but no response from Goliath is given. One paw presses down on the bend of his neck and shoulder, leaning the majority of her weight against his windpipe.

“You do not belong here,” she tells him, teeth loudly clacking together.

Yeah that’s fine, he can pop in when he has time :3

Apparently shadow-lady had more strength than Cirrus, as she ripped him from beneath Golaith with effortless abandon. Cirrus felt his legs creak and pop, nearly dislocating as he was wrenched away from the dead weight. As he was dragged, disoriented, he pedalled his back paws slowly to ensure they still worked. His chest was another matter – he could feel sharp pains every time he breathed. And soon he was deposited on the ground, only for a paw to smash against his throat and restrict the very breathing causing his chest such pain.

Cirrus attempted to respond, but could only gasp a few words: “Bear! … Chase … Sorr-“ He coughed, his chest spasmed, but he could not cough any more as he had no breath left. The high whine of a newborn puppy spilled slowly from his nose, for he felt unable to do anything else. He wished she would kill him or let him go, because he could not face this anguish and pain any longer.

Mind if I jump in right' here? to keep the order as per usual? Anyway, imma give this guy a concussion

Goliath woke up with a blurry view. He croaked a faint bark helplessly, then turned to his side, facing his leader dragging away the barely-alive intruder. What had happened? He felt as though he had dreamed terribly, and only woke up with the most terrible migraine.

Most of the blood simply covered his left eye. He's nauseous, barely holding back vomiting on the floor, and tries to stand up. If he could groan, he would. But right now, if he opened his mouth, the only thing that would come out would be bile. His body felt quite fine, other than the parts of his neck and ribs where he was numb, the only thing he felt that received serious trauma would be his head.

He tried to walk to his leader, but his coordination turned to shit, and instead simply stumbled down towards her. He remembered his opponent, they put up quite a fight for someone so small. He didn't understand what the Heda was simply keeping him down there. What was she going to do, keep him captive?

"Hello..." he croaked, he didn't understand why, but right now, that would have been the funniest thing he had heard. Holding back laughter, he coughed, and blood splattered on the fresh white snow beneath.

She's given a little fight when she pulls, kicking the ground and resisting but he falls still once she's gotten a grip beneath her paw. Her weight holds him down enough and she's thankful he's injured enough he can't resist the pressure and weasel away from her. He sputters a prayer of an explanation and Thuringwethil takes a moment, inhaling sharply and eyes quickly darting around for a scent or show of another predator in her territory. Nothing other than her borders cover the scent of the trespasser, tussling with Goliath a few moments prior, and she vaguely remembers the giant shouting liar.

Goliath eventually comes to and Thuringwethil snaps her attention to him and watched as he stumbles forward, sputtering blood all over the snow. He isn't much use to her if he can't even stand up straight and for a moment, she gives him a second to come to before she speaks. "What happened?" she demands, pressing just a little harder to silence any cries her captive might make. If there had been a bear, surely Goliath would have known--unless he simply enjoyed the chase the other had given him. For such a dainty creature, he managed a hell of a fight.

Cirrus heard the giant approaching from his back. He also heard a coughing splutter and the splat of something wet which smelled satisfyingly of blood. A vicious vindictive streak of pride rushed through his veins at the thought he had seriously hurt the other man in their fight. Mostly pure dumb luck, and the lack of his opponent’s brain, but it was a victory nonetheless.

Cirrus felt his breath squeezing softly in and out past the black lady’s pressurising paw. He could do nothing except cast soulful brown eyes on Goliath from his awkward position, and wait to hear what the beast would say.

Since Goliath is on an indefinite hiatus, I am going to just wrap this up.

Thuringwethil waits while Goliath gathers himself enough to explain the situation. The pressure on the wispy wolf remains, keeping him in place when the giant eventually speaks. It's broken and over the place but Heda is able to piece together the information, in addition to the parts she's seen and the mutterings her captive offered in the last few minutes to make her decision. When she looks down at him, he's struggling to peer over at Goliath and she offers a quick glance. Ending his life would be the easiest thing but she hesitates, before commanding her giant to approach.

She gives him a command, he follows suit, and once the dramatics of it has been taken care of, he helps pick him up and lead the captive to the nearest cave she knows of.
