All Welcome
she's attempting to climb the southern/high edge of the caldera but idk if that means she is trespassing or stupid or both so let the whumps begin.
She had ended up sleeping in the den she had widened after all. With no goal or destination in mind, it didn't really matter when she reached either, and Thestrel was used to her independence in any case-- coyote groups were dysfunctional at best, and individuals only came together if it served their individual needs. It wasn't that this bothered her; she enjoyed her freedom. But she felt freer, now, to be away from her mother and the tenuous group that was supposedly her family. Thestrel had been weighed down by their doom and gloom prophecies, and having never met a wolf, could not believe them evil as Ra'Lae had often attempted to convince her.

She had met one, now, and her curiosity burned brighter. But Thestrel knew they lived in communal groups, more tightly knit than mere convenience would allow, and she wanted to see them as such-- not the stray loner here and there. Trouble was, she had no idea how to find them, other than following her nose.

Having never seen a caldera, either, Thestrel began to climb its side as soon as she scented wolf nearby. There was no way to tell how many intermingled, but the thickness of the tapestry told her it was at least more than one. Now only if it could tell her how the fuck they got up there.
Thestrel does not understand the social conventions of wolves, and is struggling to learn. You may inflict minor, scarring wounds (but may not inflict death or permanent physical injuries) without my permission; however, by doing so you will be giving me permission to do the same.

Peregrine was busily channeling some of Ferret's excessive energy into twice daily patrolling. He was almost disappointed when this morning's turned out boringly routine. He sort of wanted to sic his asshole of a kid on a trespasser. He was sure his boy could do some real damage and he would probably get a much needed ass kicking of his own in one fell swoop. Boy, he was really regretting the mundane circuit even as they completed it and began climbing back up toward the rendezvous site.

Then a chance unexpectedly presented itself. Peregrine's eyes glittered wickedly when he saw the coyote scaling the slope. Ferret had strayed off to the side but the Alpha commanded his son's attention with a low chuff. Ferret gave him a long suffering look, though his focus definitely sharpened when he followed Peregrine's gaze and saw the coyote. Without any preamble, the pup shot toward her, baying like a damn hound and causing the father to roll his eyes a little.

Since Ferret's an NPC, you're more than welcome to juggle his actions with me. :)
