Being very vague, but I want to throw up a couple of read-only threads and then send Elwood home! This is backdated a couple of days and tags just for reference. :)
His search was long and lonely. Although Elwood knew that @Shrike was helping, he and his packmate had taken separate paths, hoping to cover more ground between the two of them. The clues that had been left for them were faint and Elwood's direction was still mostly unclear, but there was a thin thread of hope that kept him going.
Had he taken a moment to think more clearly, he might have planned to methodically visit each pack in the area. There was Sebastian's Antler pack and Moonspear relatively nearby, and he knew that FitzDutiful's pack still resided at Silvertip Mountain. But rather than question the neighbors about the whereabouts of his daughters, he continued to plunge blindly through the foliage, driven by rage and despair.
The days and nights blurred, hours slipping past uncannily. He was hungry, tired, and thirsty, but never once did he allow himself to stop,
