The morning brings a still to the land. Perhaps in the distance there is a morning bird, pestering the Wilds with its woes, though there is a general sense of calm brought on by the quiet of the slow rise. One femme still has yet to awaken from her slumber; Zhenya takes her time in rising from where she lay, splaying out her limbs as she stretches the kinks from her joints. She stands, first shaking out her fur, then each individual limb, before taking a moment to examine the view as she had atop the mesa. That same pungent odor lingers in the air, luring Zhenya nearer to their border, though she is still doubtful.

A slight movement in a nearby bush catches her attention, and she crouches into position, wiggling her hindquarters as she gauges the prey. Small, yet large enough for a temporary hold. Zhenya lunges forward and into the foliage, landing a strong grip on the animal's neck. Though bleeding herself, all she seems to notice is the warmth filling her body in feeling the otter attempting to wriggle free. It was nothing compared to that same fighting drive of a concious pup, though it had close to the same effect. вячэру.

Her head lifted high, she looks around the area for any possible threats, then dips her head and begins to peel back the fur.

He had taken @Relmyna to show her the world outside of the borders, lest she forget about it. He showed her what she had once had, the freedom to go where she wished, and even he was not sure if he offered it out of sincerity or only to dangle in front of her what she could not have. Perhaps one day she would be free again, when she became a true dark sister, but not now. Not yet.

Sheogorath showed her plants and he let her carry some of them. Had Relmyna's face not been so messed up, scarred over, her body still clearly showing her near-death experience, and had Sheogorath's body not been so ragged and thin, then perhaps they could have been a family picking flowers to an onlooker. As things were, their appearances betrayed there was something different going on, and the keen eye would deduce that there was no form of love between them.

While he searched round the waterside for plants he noticed suddenly there was someone near. He watched the pounce and soon saw the wolf emerge again. He turned narrow features towards the wolf and sat down, just staring as it ate, while Relmyna dutifully waited beside his shoulder.

Another's scent drifts into her nostrils, almost mimicking the metallic scent of her meal, though this is distinctly wolf. Hackles bristled and ears perked, Zhenya lifts her head slowly and scans the premises with a low rumble in her throat. Xто са мной? she calls out, hoping the guttural sounds of her mother tongue will leave a bit of intimidation in the other. Should it not, she prepares herself for battle, all the while keeping a neutral face. Пакіньце. The rumble grows louder, showing her discontent with an intrusion upon her meal, though she would rather not have a conflict erupt.

The only thing he noticed was a growing growl in the other's throat, and he just stood and stared for a while. He wasn't too eager to fight, his physique showing the signs of the famine and poor winter both. Were she less close to the borders he might have left her altogether but now he was not sure if he should. Yet the words that came from her mouth sounded like a garble of nothing to him, so he wasn't too sure that he would be able to have any use with her.

Relmyna was left obediently behind, her exterior a haunting image of the things Sheogorath could do despite how unfit for fighting he was himself, but Sheogorath didn't step forward. He just stood in place and stared as she defended her food. Then, eventually, he said: "I don't speak your language." And he waited to see if the message would do anything, or if the language she had used was all she knew.

Zhenya turns in the direction of the voice and allows her rumbling to cease, though her defensive stance remains. Who is out there? she questions once more, this time in a common tongue. It is bright out, so she can make from the scene the male's sickly frame and distinct appearance. Because he seems calm, she is able to relax a notch, though she is still incredibly on edge. Her eyes squint and she takes a step forward to better see the other and the woman beside him, though she stops soon enough to keep a few yards between them.

Of course, he would not be himself if he would not answer her question in riddles. He did not understand why she would speak in her own tongue when as far as he was aware, english was what everybody else here spoke. Perhaps she was new, but then, she sounded like she was from far away.

He clicked his tongue against the back of his teeth before answering: "A man and his beast." He glanced back to where Relmyna stood in the distance, before looking back at her. "It's dangerous to eat so close to a pack's borders." His words implied that something bad might happen to her, though there was a mad twinkle in his eyes that showed this was all just a game. Whether or not he was really dangerous, well, who would know.

Zhenya takes one step further to better view the pair, then halts again as she processes the exchange of words. You are from the pack whose borders are marked with blood, yes? She can smell it on him; the sweet nectar which she so craved, in that one moment more than ever. Her body language remains defensive, though her voice has loosened and now mimics the mysterious tone of her companions' speaker.

As she drew nearer he could see her a bit better, though there was no offense in his body language. He didn't feel the urge to protect his land on neutral grounds, despite being so close to it. She asked him about where he was from and Sheo nodded; "Yes." That was all he said, and he waited for her response, not caring much for the conversation so far either way.

Not much happened from there on. With little response, Sheogorath said, "Best not to get too close," in a casual I-don't-really-care-what-you-do sort of manner. If she did, she had been warned and he would not be merciful. "Let us go, Relmyna," he called out to her then and he prodded her side to incite her submissively following along, back to the territory.
