All Welcome
His form trotted along the borders, marking here and there where he deemed appropriate. He was a part of the pack now and it only made sense to mingle his scent with the others. Moose also faintly recalled Ceara mentioning pups. Beefing up on border security with little ones about or soon to be about (for he wasn't too terribly up to date on the news) couldn't hurt.

The male followed the border for some time. While he was eager to integrate himself into the pack, perhaps there was a better way to do it. Like being social.

With a new found excitement, he turned away from the borders and began to move back into the territory. He just had to bump into someone on his walk back. Right?

He had started to cover other parts of the pack grounds beside the dens and this time began to head dangerously close to the borders, unaware of the danger of doing so. When he got there he saw another wolf leaving and decided to follow, trying to be quiet and stalk him from behind. His ears were flattened and he grinned, looking like he was considering doing something bad.

Considering turned into doing so and he ran forward with a shriek, pouncing at the stranger's hind legs and nipping at them with the fiercest snarls he could manage. "You're on Redhawk land! Submit and I won't  hurt ya! he commanded and backed  his ears perked and tail raised above his back despite the fact that he was about three times smaller than this male.

He probably would have been mad at the nips at his heels had he not turned to see a child. The kid was young and the words were a bit too bold for someone still so small. Lucky for this kid that Moose was glad to play along.

The male dropped onto his belly and even rolled over, an excited glint in his eyes. Ya got me! But I should let you know first...I'm actually a part of Redhawk. Boom! Double agent! Not really though because Moose wasn't nearly cool enough for that.

Either way, he stayed on his back just in case that kid further wanted to play whatever the wolf version of cop and robber was.

Tywyll couldn't help the pleased grin that broke out across his face when the male dropped and rolled over. It spoke submission to his newly growing desire for dominance and he approached closer though he paused at the news that this guy was a Redhawk. Oh. Whoops. Even so he wanted to push this farther and came in close, sniffing at him. Yeah, he smelled like them alright so he wasn't lying. "Alright mister, but I'm gonna escort you back to the pack area. What are you doin so close to the borders?" he asked suspiciously, jerking his chin to tell him to get up. The question was a fairly good one to Tywyll who didn't understand marking borders and patrolling them quite yet or the more intricate workings of defense of territory at all really.

He lifted himself back up onto all fours, shaking out his thick coat to free any debris from the earth. The kid had a pretty good question and Moose felt bad for any actual non-Redhawk who crossed this kid. They would be in for one good interrogation.

I was marking the borders so that non-Redhawk wolves know they shouldn't just waltz on in. Although I see now that we don't have to worry much with a guardian like you, eh? He gave the boy a genuine grin as his tail swayed behind his earthy form. Patiently he waited to let the boy take the lead back to the pack area.

The answer to the question was a good one, it sounded like he had been doing the right thing to Tywyll. Even so he hadn't known that the borders needed to be marked, he just kinda assumed that the land was theres and nobody would dare step foot on it. Was that why everyone peed everywhere? "Alright...I guess that makes sense." he said relenting with a puff of his chest when the guy boosted his ego. He began to head back toward the den area "Yeah! If anyone dared to come in, I'd really bite them in the butt. Tear em a new poop hole!" he said with a grin. Then he giggled immaturely because he thought what he said was downright hilarious .
