All Welcome

A couple of days went by while Mithras scoured the landscape for signs of his brother, and when he didn't find anything substantial enough to use as a lead he grew frustrated. He was drawn in to the forest just as the sun began to set and watched as the sky shifted through shade after shade, until it was black as pitch. The clouds obscured the rest, drifting out at sea on the breath of winter. He soon found himself in a clearing — but it was not sleep that he was after, merely a meal. He skulked in the dark, pausing over various patches of scents but finding nothing of value - just like his hunt for his brother and his kin, which served to ignite his frustration further.
