taltos had remained in this place for several days. he had not returned to what he had determined was his home for the simple reason that the wandering had taken him. memories of the glen were altogether too hazy; he could not rely upon them for what he did not know about himself. there were few constants, but the foremost of them all was the wanderlust that gripped taltos often.
and so, nostrils flaring, he found himself at the borders of this new land. his hackles bristled, eyes filled with the verdant green that had swum up from their depths. taltos was at once both apprehensive and intrigued. he did not cry out, nor did he make his presence known. he was merely still, awaiting that which he did not yet understand.
