All Welcome

Leaving home hadn’t been easy. But he had every intention of finding Speedy and bringing her back home. To where she belonged, with him and their families. Emrik glanced up at the sun trying gage how much light was left in the day. He wasn’t in any particular rush, seeing as he hadn’t caught Speedy’s scent since leaving. He hoped he was travelling in the right direction; she had said she was heading north.

With a small sigh the man approached a small stream that he had been following. Dipping his head, his tongue lapped the water calmly. The sun was beating down, and yet the man felt no discomfort from the increasing temperature. Rather the opposite, he appreciated the heat and welcomed it. Reminding him of home.

hope you don't mind Elve hopping into this :)

The Sami found herself upon the banks of a gently burbling stream as the male did - again a hint of surprise coloring her expression as a cyan gaze took in the agouti coloring of a desert land, muted grays and dusty browns, which was so unlike the dark behemoths of home that she knew.

The elven blonde watched from the safety of the wavering grasses that sheltered her miniscule frame as the stranger bowed and drank deeply.

Dirt discolored his pelt and the unfamiliar, far-off smells of a foreign land tainted his natural musk. He appeared to have journeyed a long distance though from where the naive and inexperienced woman could not determine.

Elve debated internally - to expose herself to him meant possibly being met with aggression or danger, to remain hidden risked the eventuality of being found and interrogated for her innocent spying.

With a slight swallow to dislodge her nerves, the wolfdog pulled the caribour hide over her shoulders once more and slipped hesitantly into view.

A soft chuff escaped her lips, little more than an exhalation, as her golden crown ducked demurely. Her feathery plume swished slightly where it hung between slender legs.

"T'is woman greets you, Pat'finder."
To the moon and never back.
"Common." "Uralic/Lapp."

I don’t mind one bit! Thanks for jumping in!

Looking up and over toward the sound the disrupted his daydreaming, Emrik took in the willowy woman her soft pelt catching the breeze slightly. Smiling softly he dipped his head in greeting, “Hello there.” He offered, neither offended nor angry at her intrusion. Emrik was a social creature and immensely enjoyed the company of others.

“Nice to meet a friendly face, it’s been ages since I’ve seen anybody.” Retreating to a seated position, her tilted his head and perked his ebony tipped ears. The soft scent of lavender reached his nose and it reminded him of spring which was currently in full bloom.

"Aye, 'tis," the cursed woman wisped in agreement faintly, the hint of a bemused smile gracing her scarred features. He seemed youthful, boyish and friendly - he reminded her vaguely of the younger brothers she had once played nursemaid to.

"Most 'ave been frienly to me t'us far. 'Ave you met many aggressive strangers?" She asked curiously, golden crown tilting to the side ever so slightly.
