All Welcome

The green was endless here, spreading across the undulating hills and beyond, to the trees. He lingered on the edge of it with his snout tipped down towards the fresh water of the basin, watching the typically still water shiver against the blustering wind. The wolf was blending in well among the foliage, his coat composed of earth and stone, but he was not invisible. There were other creatures visiting the basin too — herons soaring north, frogs croaking and jolting through the shallows. The wolf had been hit by a desirous thirst and was thrilled to have found the watering hole. He drank swiftly, in fits. Every new noise brought a twist to his ear, or he would pause and observe the flitting of birds, the distant calls within the woodland surroundings. Maybe if he was lucky he could find something to eat too.

Tagging for reference, no obligation!

Another day, another god damn hour spent venturing out. Higoro had grown weary of the Shadewood borders and took it upon himself to keep occupied. At first it was a game of hunt here, a race around the SW borders there. Of course thats only fun the first dozen times, after that its only a boring distraction. Thankfully Teekon was as wild as a boar, so there was plenty of adventures to be had. However before he left, be informed @Minori he would be gone for a few days. If @Cry had a problem with his sudden adventurous disappearance, then as far as Higoro cared, Cry can go -- Well, it didn't matter. He was out and about now, no going back.

The sights he went by were amazing, the rivers, wildlife and sheer vastness of the land was astonishing. 'No wonder Minori chose this place to bury roots'. As be was gazing, and walcing around a deer bolted in front of him and instincts kicked in. Higoro bolted after the yearling doe, and followed it close behind. He was close until it veered off to the right, Higoro didn't see the reason why until he saw the earthy male sating his thirst. The dark, silvery male stopped dead in his tracks, more interested in this new wolf. Higoro sized the other male up and deemed him not threat worthy. The silver male smirked, "Who might you be?" He asked, nonchalantly.
