Easter Horn

The previous day was the founding of the elk, the Western Horn, but now was the day she would head to the east part of the territory. They preferred the top-most corner, the east, more-so near the colder point of The Bracken Woods. They seemed thicker, larger, and more arrogant then the ones who ventured more west.
Slowly did she venture forward to their domain, taking note, that much unlike the others, all of them were horned. Even the young ones held the buddings of their antlers, and even more-so what seemed of a doe, too held them, albiet smaller then their male counterpart.
Eastern Horn, those who held horns no matter of gender. Caribou, the phoenix remembered what they specifially called, if she recounted their name right. While for a wolf, perhaps it would not matter, but for her ward, it did. The Bracken Woods seemed to hold not one but two kinds, a difference between the two, and even moreso their hunting-style may differ, as the eastern ones would be far more difficult to control. Those with horns are hard to fight, their defense is grand.. A harder prey, she would take note for the future generation of the Sunward.
