They were gone.

Thus it was that his common sense and self preservation left too. In search of a fix to help him leave this world or at the least see it in ways others could not he'd found the Lair. The entrance was where he stood smelling the herbaceous scent mixed with dust and sand and more prominently wolves. If he went in he might stumble on someone but at the same time...it was the first time he'd smelled anything that had that medicinal taint to its stench...lured him in like the addict he was. Eyes roaming the darkness and adjusting quick enough after blinking slowly for a few moments he trekked deeper "If anyone lives here I apologize" his deep baritone was spoke as soft as he could muster but he'd always had that deep chested voice...it echoed anyway and he cringed.

"It is alright. This is unclaimed land, none live here." Célnes originally came back to the lair, thinking if she found Calhoun, perhaps her other family may be nearby. She had lost where Friede had went, perhaps found her friends and they scampered off into trouble. Then again, with their obsession with her dearest brother, surely they'd come around.

However it seemed none of the Deorwine's came to, instead an unholy man came forth. He had the blessings of browns, but tainted with the unspeakable black. There wasn't too many black wolves she had seen in these lands, most were light, of grays and golds, not of the unsaid coloring.

She stepped forward, revealing herself.

A woman's voice spoke from behind him as he had his muzzle buried into some foilage sniffing out what it could possibly be giving him a start. Head lifting fast he turned around emerald eyes latching onto the woman's for a moment before he removed them and nodded "Smells like a popular place" it was a lovely find overall, a nature made den that could probably home a small pack. Never having been very good at small talk he turned away from the plants to be respectful the sunlight streaming through the roof catching the gold in his eyes for a split second before he had to squint and move out of the way to actually see. "My name is Baptiste since we're meeting" the only thing that had seemed right was an introduction given with a polite nod of his head. He could smell that she'd been around others and wondered about what other packs were out there, he'd smelled a few besides The Saints and Ursus around the mountains.

Sorry for the crappy response ;_; My muse is gone

"Indeed." She said with a small and short answer. The place has been where a few times she met family, and unknowingly, her own family meeting others. Though it would not be her preferred place to form a pack, as the mountains were not a favorite. The Deorwine preferred the forests, a familarity of terrian.

"I am Célnes Déorwine, a pleasure," she greeted with an aristocratic smile. Despite the rain, she could faintly smell others lingering upon his pelt, and assumed to be a nearby pack. She only knew of one in the mountains, which was Seelie Court. Faintly remembering Dante and his offer to stay with them, but this wolf did not smell like him.

"Where are you from?" The elken woman inquired.
