The passing of their sister was no sad day—

she would come again, as they would, as was prophesied, as it always had been and would be—

but that sister had spoken of a strange place, bereft of their faith. Here it was. None had spoken any of their names. So here in some place, they would find her reborn. Spirit stuck in the walls of some being. They had come to awaken her.

The wiry girl had munched on a rabbit to put to rest her belly that snarled furiously. With this success, their fast had ended. Ribs protruded from her sallow skin thinly covered in black-and-silver. And presently, her fangs moved to open the skin of her foreleg in a thin slash, small beads of blood pooling there, dribbling down only when that bead became too heavy to remain. Shego smeared the blood upon a set of old, yellowed bones she had found.

His days here were numbered this he knew, and he isolated himself from all contact. Shadows covered him like a blanket and hid him from the light, but he was always there watching. Today was special for he had heard news of an abundant of newcomers in Blackfeather, all of which he would like to meet. Some were dark others were bright, but all joined the pack and we're now in his life.

Ohen had come to this place a warrior and a killer and would leave being the exact opposite. He believed that this was not a place for him, not this darkness. He left his home for his sister and he completely forgot about her. How could have he been so stupid to actually care for these wolves. Burke, Meldresi, Lusa, Grimnir and the pups all he cared for even if he had bad connections with them.

Ohen was loyal to Blackfeather but his heart was not.

He slipped through the darkness and towards the border, when a strange scent filled his nostrils. Silence and death hung in the air as he smelt blood before him. He had not left this place yet, and went to make sure it was not one of his packmates who had become injured. There in the woods another black coat, witg green eyes that shine bright and big. "It's not healthy to self-harm you know."

Like Shego, Lakhesis was not saddened by the fact that their sister had not made it. They needn't be. They would find her again here.

Before she left, she mentioned this strange place. To the west. This was as far west as they had come, and it seemed suitable. They needed a place to stay, to rest and feed and find. After their welcoming by the priestess of the woods and her dock-tailed mate, the pair had split. Lakhesis headed deeper into the marshes in the far reaches of the territory, eager to explore and find. She did not discover anything, however, save for the skull of a raven she now held delicately in her jaws as she retreated back to her sister.

She found her being confronted by a male with an inky coat that seemed to absorb light itself, his muzzle the only part untouched by shadows. The girl slid forward, emerging out of the trees and drawing up behind Shego, placing the skull gently next to the bloodied bones. A gift, for both her sister and this forest. She then looked up to the male, confused by his words.

There was a dark man who came to them then, and her eyes held him as he spoke of self-harm.

Self-harm?

"This will not harm me. This will help me."

Shego wondered if he understood how she meant; but, perhaps not. Many were unfamiliar with their magics. Her sister was there, suddenly, placing the tiny skull of the corvidae down.

"Imagine what these eyes have seen," she breathes, and tilts her forearm over it so her blood would fall onto it in slow, drawn out drips. One drop, two drop, three drop, four; the chaos theory sent these drops in opposite directions. "We have the skies on our side now."

She looked to the male, then to her sister. "...I sense... dark times ahead." It was an eerie feeling that crawled up her spine. "Do you feel it, sister?"

Another coywolf appeared and Ohen could have swore he saw the the same coywolf infront of him for a second. However after allowing his brain to register the two bodies, he realized that there were indeed two different coywolves infront of him. He took a step back, and look confused when she said that it would help her. "How does it help you?" He couldn't help but ask that question.

He listened when the crazy cutting coywolf spoke. He was confused by her words and when she turned to look at him he took yet another step back. He had just met her, but he was positive something was not right with that brain of her's. For some reason, miss cutting coywolf reminded him of Damien went he went all psycho on the dog. When the word sister came up it finally made sense why the two coywolves looked alike, but that didn't make Ohen feel anymore comfortable in their presence.

Her sister spoke before then blessing the skull, and Lakhesis looked from it and then to the sky. This was only the start, they had many more rituals to complete before the entirety of these woods would support their cause. The wolves would be the hardest of all to convince. They would start with this male before them.

His face spoke of confusion, and Lakhesis couldn't help but let a smile crawl across her own features, even as Shego mentioned dark times. She nodded, she felt it, too. There was unrest and unease, but they would make it right. They would find her.

"Blood is a strong force," she said, looking up to the dark stranger. "It gives life, there is none without it." And through the use of magic, they had learned how to use such a force.

Although his question was one borne of curiosity, not of the intent to insult, Shego felt aggravated by it.

Her patience (none) dissipated and as her sister courteously explained, she herself fell into a vehement spew of words, tapping into her fiery temper: "Do not question me!" Spittle clung to the edges of her lips, a positively rabid display having come from his unintentional provocation. An insult! Did he seek to make a mockery of her!? How could it help. Did it matter?! She had told him what he needed to know.

A cruel idea occurred to her, then, and the witch drew closer to him, sensing his unease and his discomfort like a mother would sense the wellbeing of her own child. His question would not go unchecked. A deep hatred bloomed in her heart; the impudent girl was so bothered by his question, she sought to ruin him.

He, a lesson, to the pack; their magic ran in their blood.

Atropos knew death. She predicted it.

"You will see," comes her half-snarl, "I will prove it to you."

The sudden shout of words caused the boy to just back in shock. The one sister explained it kindly and how normal wolves were suppose to act. However cut crazy lunatic had started shouting at him. Ohen didn't know what the hell to do when he was being shout at by someone who cuts things. He didn't feel like becoming this wolf's blood donator. He stepped back again and ultimately was ready to sprint away from here before he was being killed, but something kept him still. He was curious to see what the cutting girl was going to do.

"Ok there little miss psychopath, I believe it's time for you to get off the insane train." He realized those were probably not the best words he could have used but nevertheless the had come out and he couldn't take them back. He growled when she stepped closer, for his uneasiness grew with every step she took. When she said she would prove it, Ohen was confused about what she would prove. What, that blood made her strong. "No, no, there is no need to prove anything" he said while shaking his head. He hated creepy wolves.

Shego's composure snapped like a bow string, venomous words spilling forth from her mouth. Lakhesis remained where she was as the other witch drew forward, a smile dancing on her lips but withholding the urge to let out a laugh. Atropos' temper was a fickle thing, dangerous to toy with as this wolf had unknowingly done. Even Lakhesis was startled by the display, but not surprised, used to Shego's outbursts as she was. She herself was prone to such anger, though it was often more quiet, calculating.

Her hackles bristled as the man joked, though her expression remained amicable. He quickly retorted, having no need to have anything proven to him, but that was not his choice now. Lakhesis' gaze, alight with excitement, flicked to her sister. "Does he wish to know how long his thread is?" she chirped cheerfully, stalking closer to the unnerved male, pale eyes focused on him once again. "Surely you'd like to know!"

His words caused her to laugh, the sound a shrieking, noxious sound, one that pierced the mind with its high pitch.

"Insanity! We'll show him insanity, won't we!"

She shared a look with her sister, and begins her terrible curse:

"Your mind falls behind
A large, dark, heavy cloud
Lost it will become with time
Your worst thoughts the only sound;

Gone is coherence, clarity, and fact
And in comes insanity, all else no longer intact."

She threw her arm at him, so whatever blood dribbled it would fly in his direction, laughing quite like the maniac she happened to be. Goodbye, goodbye, goodbye to your mind.

"Now you will know, like it or not," comes her angry voice, her mood shifting and returning to absolute hatred, all traces of amusement lost. She had cursed him to insanity; now he would know. Know that she was not insane... but that he was.

Wrapping this up!

Insanity. Shego's punishment for the stranger's ignorance of course was much more malicious, but Lakhesis was not against it. She prowled ever closer with light, dancing steps, sharing the knowing glance and screeching laughter with her sister. Atropos recited the curse, one for the man's ears only, binding him to his fate. Insanity and chaos. He thought they strange; he had no idea.

Blood flew through the air. It would catch the man's dark fur and mingle, securing his fate as the vessel's magic took hold. The echoes of the shrieking curse faded into the forest, quietness once again taking hold as Shego spoke again, her glee disappearing as quickly as it had come. The other witch remained as perky as ever, tail waving to and fro as she kept her gaze upon the male. It would take a while for the curse to work, but when it did he would know.

With a final hiss from Shego, the pair then turned and scampered off into the forest, black coats melting into the darkness and leaving the man to contemplate on his insolence.
