Kinusi's eyes had begun to open. But there was nothing to be seen yet. All she noticed was very small slivers of light in the cracks of her eyes. And they felt funny. Heavy and gunky and she wasn't entirely thrilled with it. She whimpered and rubbed her face along her father, or mother or siblings side. Anything to make her eyes feel better and the little slivers stop showing up.
