He was a guard, now, but that didn't keep him from keeping up with his hunting duties. Solharr had not told him to stop, and so he assumed that he would simply be expected to fit more patrols into his schedule. That was fine. He was sure that Seastorm would be glad for the respite.
Today, however, was for hunting. Or for taking inventory, at least.
He'd noticed that there wasn't much prey in the glen during his last visit, but slowly, animals were moving back into the area. He supposed that they must have been scared off by the great hunt that Kinusi had spoken of, and that they were now growing comfortable with the territory once more. In particular, he'd noticed the local rafters of wild turkeys had become a little less dense in Forneskja.
Sniffing around the glen, he decided that some of them had indeed moved further south. There was not time to go further and make a more thorough check, but he felt fairly confident that he knew where to go the next time he wanted to hunt them.
For now, he headed back toward Neverwinter, pausing now and then to sniff around for prey. And, when the breeze blew a certain way, he lingered in the frosty meadowlands, gazing off in the direction of that strange outcropping. Moonglow, according to Kinusi.
