Chimera Fields you love me

She'd had her worries about giving birth to her children next to the winter-struck ocean, yet somehow it was all the more frustrating to be so far away from it. Hokulani felt stuck, even if it was in the safety of her whelping den.

On the bright side of things, the pups were growing well as far as she could tell - they weren't so ugly anymore. @Kaiilani was up and stumbling around, a feat that Hokulani was quite proud of! @Taamele was clearly a bit more cautious however; it reminded her of Puamele. Ripstorm seemed to be happiest curled up next to her.

Snow had begun to fall outside of the den this morning, Hokulani making a point of laying across the entrance to block out any stray snowflakes or harsh winds. Puppy fluff was cute, but she wasn't sure how well it would do against the winter chill.

Kaiilani was learning her body and how it worked. She stumbled around the den, still getting used to these legs. But, she was trying! A feat she was quite proud of for as young as she was. She let out a small yelp at another little tumble before moving to snuggle into her mother, partially for comfort from the stumble, but also to keep warm.
