It had come to his attention that @Aibreann had been in an incident which had left two trespassers dead, and his sister quite wounded. Given the fact that he hadn't exactly been spending much of his time patrolling or guarding the borders, he felt at least partially responsible for the fact that two wolves had managed to slip past their borders- though mostly he preferred to blame the others. He'd never advertised himself as a guardian, anyway. He was a scout- and scouts weren't made to fight, they were simply made to travel. And so, trying not to bear too hostile a grudge against his packmates for allowing two intruders to harm his sister, he'd caught a fish for her to eat, and tracked his way back to her den with the intention of feeding her and spending some time with her.He did realize that most others might have seen his companionship as a douse of salt in a wound- but for some reason, Aibreann seemed content to tolerate him. He still took no interest in watching the children, though he realized that while she healed, she would be depending on the others to keep an eye out for them. That job, he believed, was Mal's, not his...But he also couldn't expect Mal to watch over however many children it was that he and Aibreann had and govern a pack at the same time.
“Hey, Glee?” He called out softly, as he reached her den. His voice was muffled by the fish he carried, but she'd surely know it was him by the reedy, nasal tone of his voice. He set it down so he could speak better. “I brought lunch.” He said, hoping that might tempt her to allow him to visit.
