“I just can not figure out why in the Wilds a place like this even exists!”

The dainty flower was not speaking to anyone in particular and she wished she had been; the poor thing was absolutely lost. The Weald was an ongoing maze, one that didn’t have just twist and turns, it also just looks the same!

Over and over again. An exasperated sigh left her in a huff.

There was no marker for her to keep track of and it was her inexperience, her lack of knowledge of literally anything, that kept her from returning to the Quarry, to her pack. To Solharr.

She scoffed at herself. “Oh, stop it, you silly girl. You’ve only just met the man…” He surely does not feel the same. Granted, she never asked, and only assumed.

With a grumble, she sat, a tuft of dirt and soil billowing from her landing.

“What do I do?” She looked around, then up through the trees as she sighed again. The sun broke through the leaves of the canopy above as it swayed with the wind, dappling her in a soft glow, its touch warming her where it landed.

At least it was peaceful here.
