Turtle Island marooned

Nearly a month had passed since the seawolves' arrival on the island. Noe had become keenly aware of time passing; the ebb and flow of night and dark brought with it a similar shift in his mother, but even that had been pushed aside today in favour of exploring the bounds of his growing body.

Manman was absent as the little boy scampered past the threshold on unsteady legs, eager to pre-emptively spot @Chani's arrival but instead was met with an awfully strong gust of saltwind. It buffeted his downy fur, swaying him side to side and made his eyes water uncomfortably so.

Soon, Noe would learn to embrace it, as he would the sea and the endless sky above them. But for now, baby steps.

Fabienne was never far from her brother or her mother. She was feral and wild, but like her spirit she loved that way too. Fiercely. And as such she was not pleased when one or the other, her constant companions were ever far from her sight. So it was with a war cry she followed after her brother. 

Her intent was to pounce upon him. But much like him the wind caught her off guard and it unbalanced her. She froze at the scents that assaulted her and folded her ears tight to her head. The screaming squall of the wind hurt her sensitive ears.

She stood next to him. Swaying and watching. Gathering herself against the onslaught, getting used too the sharp tongue if the seas winds.
