aw w/ a new man!
the north is cold, bitter, and uninviting. dreary as thick, grey clouds cloak the sun. the titan's steps are heavy and slow; upon his shoulders rest a thick bear hide, it's claws brushing against broad shoulders. his tracks would be covered soon, should snow decide to fall.
heavy head hangs low. bitten and cropped ears on a swivel, his guard never lowered. the mountainside and broad, its peaks hidden by the cover of cloud. he's snug against it's side, tired eyes searching for an opening, a cave.
and when he finds one, he slips inside. sheer size making the cavern a tight fit, but it would have to do for now. a temporary reprieve as he could both rest and gather his bearings. the man settles near the mouth, his form half-cloaked by shadow.
he settles with a heavy, tired sigh. shaded eyes watching the clouds swirl above.

her nose twitched at the air, catching the scent of elk in the distance. she paused, her body low, tail twitching just slightly as she settled into a crouch. the movements of her paws were soft against the snow, like shadows on the mountainside. the wind shifted, and with it, she moved.
she came upon the male in the cave, her presence noticed only by the flicker of her pale eyes. she did not approach too closely, respecting his space. her body language was clear—she was not here for him, but for the hunt.
a single, low whine escaped her throat, a vocalization that spoke of intent. then, with a swift, fluid movement, she pointed her muzzle towards the distant ridge where the elk would pass, and raised her chin slightly. it was an invitation, not for help, but for company in the hunt—a shared pursuit.
she paused, watching him from the shadows of the entrance, and then nodded her head once, before turning her attention back to the distant valley, where the elk moved among the snow.
