That Vyn girl had lingered on his mind like honey does on a tongue, it doesn't take much to be in the boy's head. Most any feminine looking canine could be his next target, males included. However, none of his recent acquaintances gained that fixation that Halvard would gain from simply gazing upon that certain one.
For now, he simply stared at an open stretched field where elk would likely roam if it were the slightest bit warmer. Some did, he could smell their stink lingering in trails throughout the area, and along with them came the musk of bears. He hadn't expected many to come out from their months' long slumber so soon, but with prey came predators.
