Zannah laid within the foyer of the family den, and her attention focused on the world outside; she had taken all of her most-cherished belongings to her vantage point, and they laid between her outstretched arms. Her accumulation—which she had collected recently—contained a smooth, obsidian stone, an antler, and a fox pelt, and she protected each of these items fiercely.
There was nothing of particular interest happening outside, but Zannah didn't mind. It was nearly time for the Spiderling's afternoon nap, and she was feeling far too sluggish to do anything that required too much energy. For now, Zannah was content with her laziness.

Ahhh I forgot about this thread, I am sorry plz forgive @Zan. ;_;
Normally, he found Zannah's collection to be without interest. In his opinion, everything his sister claimed as her own was dull and boring: from dumb antlers to rugged stones, he failed to understand the fascination. He scowled at her from the other side of the den as she lay with forelimbs outstretched, settled protectively over her possessions as though they were her very own litter.
He felt drained, anticipating their delayed afternoon doze and feeling the frustration of an interrupted routine. As such, it was only appropriate that he seek to channel that negative energy onto someone else - and it was Zan who just happened to be in eyeshot.
Venamis gathered to his paws and padded in her direction, uncaring that his approach would alert her to his silent plotting - she knew him more than most, that any interest from him was sure to mean trouble. He hovered over her, feigning intrigue for the objects she protected, biding his time for the perfect moment to steal something away from under her nose and make her squeal with fury.
sanguine, my brother
Zan was aware of the misconduct that came with Venamis' presence, and once he was noticed, she pulled her treasures close. Simply put, Venamis was a rascal, and Zan didn't trust him anywhere near her collection. He stood over her, and she greeted his unwelcomed presence with a distasteful sneer as if to silently ask, What do you want?"
She knew. Of course she did. They were siblings of the same womb, shared the blood of deviant and tricksters. Zan was more than capable of playing Venamis at his own game; he'd seen that unmistakable sly glint in her eye on more than one occasion. The spiderling did not reveal his disappointment or frustration at her having seen right through his feigned innocent interest, choosing instead to wait patiently.
A dark ear twitched and, as he stepped back to allow a little more space between them and potentially lure her into a false sense of security, Ven watched his sister quietly for a time as she continued to eye him suspiciously. At last he broke the stare, lifting his cool gaze to look above the other youngster's crown with false enthusiasm at absolutely nothing among the branches with the hope that curiosity might get the better of her.
But Zan did not fall into her brother's web of deceit, and he huffed his frustrated disappointment as he turned away to observe and wait from a distance.
