Something was wrong. Burke raised his head to listen to the raging weather outside the alpha's den. Instantly his heart went out for Meldresi. He was definitely going to be hella pissed at his wifey for being away so long and making him worry so much. His ears rotated on his head. This was no ordinary storm. Burke was never restless, he was usually his calm self, but with this heavy storm coming down at him and his pack it was making him a bit.. nervous? He nudged the body close to him to see if the one was awake. Burke then decided to exit the den to check.
Instantly his coat felt heavy with the rain falling down on it. The trees were moving and the quick flashes of lightning were showing Black Feather with far more light that it would have in normal daylight. The wind tugged on his wet fur and made the trees almost dance before his eyes, pulling on their branches. Burke had to do something, but before he could do anything a heavy tree fell onto the alpha's den. Burke let out a gasp and dove back inside. Luckily the roots of the old tree they lived under were quite strong, but Burke wasn't going to tempt his luck. Dirt was already falling down and he didn't want to be squashed like a fly under the fallen tree. "Get out of there now. We need to go," he let out.
Once Burke was back outside he realised that he could smell the stench of the swamp, even though the rain. "Do you smell that?" He knew the alpha den wasn't close to the swamps. At least not that close. Would that mean? Burke was no naturalist but if he could smell the swamp here it meant that just like the trees the swamp was moving too. Burke howled for his pack, howling to know if they were all alright and who needed help. Possibly Burke could get every member safe in the infirmary. The big chamber of Mephala's Web was the only place that could house them all safely. Then Burke remembered Lusa and her babies. They would need relocation. His old den was close to the swamps. Crap. Was she alright?

Long post is long. :P
Potema was not a formal naturalist yet, but the signs of a storm approaching was too obvious to ignore. She stood amongst the red leaves of the Redgrove where her new den lay hidden underneath a bush, her fur clinging to her body from the heavy rain as she watched the dark, foreboding sky, felt the hiss of the winds through the dark trees. "Sithis protect us..." Her mother had not taught her any true sacred chants as of yet - her disappearance stalled her training indefinitely - but a prayer was all she had against whatever Daedric-sent storm this was. "Mephala weave a web of protection around our forest..."
She jolted as snap cut through the storm's howls. Potema had not heard the sound before, but it was clear what it was. This storm was strong enough to pull trees down, snap them in half, and one of those halves were falling near her. Potema ran as fast as her slender legs could carry her, though her pace slowed as the smell of the swamp came to her faster than expected. This torrential rain was flooding the Mire, sending the swamp waters farther west into the forest. Sithis save us, indeed... Her voice whispered. The waters could and would easily flood the tunnels as well, and anyone inside would be trapped...
The girl looked up to see another darkness cover the sky, the loud and raucous calls calming her as she realized that it was not more clouds, but the ravens and crows. She watched as the previously warring factions moved almost in unison south, to which she presumed was safe. Trusting the judgement of the pack's avian neighbors, Potema followed the dark-feathered cloud, hoping to both the God of the Void and the Spider Goddess that safe repose could be found there....

The sound of a tree snapping in front of the nursery awoken her and her pups. Wind howled into the den with rage. She could hear thunder roaring in the distance. Lusa was immediately up and grabbing all of her pups by their scruffs. She swiftly ran up to the entrance, ready to get her puppies out, but it was blocked by a fallen tree. She placed down her puppies and ran up to the tree and smelled the air. The swamp was closer than usual. She further investigated and found a small gap. It was big enough for her puppies to fit through, and if she tried hard enough she could get through as well.
One by one, she pushed them through. Afterwards she sent out a howl of distress, asking anyone to help get her pups to safety. She then pushed her own body through. She gritted her teeth as the sharp bark clawed at her pelt. She was almost out when she felt that her left leg was stuck. She tried pulling out, determined to be with her pups, but then she heard a snap. Pain shot through her whole body and there was unbearable pain in her paw. "Help! My paw! Its... its broken!" She winced with pain as she pulled herself out. She looked down to study her paw. It was bent in an awkward position. Her claw touched her leg and blood poured from it. She let out another, more agonized, howl.

Eeee!! This is so exciting :D
The days after coming back home had been silent. Damien, worried for the sake of his mother, and troubled by the fact that his mission in Bearclaw Vally had been a total waste of time, had entered a state of depression that had taken him to seclude himself from the rest of the pack for a while. He had his place, his own secret den in which he decided to spen his lone nights, but he missed the warmth of his mother beside him in the Alpha's den so he decided to spend just one night with Burke and his siblings.
But things turned in an unexpected direction.
The night fell silent as the complete darkness of the night embraced the forest. But something was not right. The air smelled different, and Damien's fur, as any other wolf's would have, turned electric with the eerie feeling in the land. It was silent, so silent. Even for Blackfeather Woods the silence was too serious to ignore. A storm was coming, and Damien thought it best to stay inside for the night so his eyes closed and he pushed closer to the thick fur of his adoptive father. The teenager fell in a sleep as deep as it had not happened in weeks, the warmth of Burke's body was so comfortable, and it reminded Damien of his mother. He slept like a baby.
Until The grey bear nudged him awake and Damien instantly springled up with the terrifying crack of a thunder, knowing that things were too strange to keep sleeping. He jumped out of the den with Burke and the rain immediately soaked him from thead to tail. The rain was torrential, the wind was howling loudly and piercing whistles through the trees let him know that this storm was not usual, but it wasn't until the loud crack of a falling tree smashed the den that he understood the gravity of the matter. Through a hole in the canopy left behind by the fallen tree Damien saw a grey monster in the distance. The rain made it all fuzzy, but it was clearly something huge. It formed an inverted cone and was clearly advancing west from his perspective.
Burke urged the remaining Melonii out of the den and sprinted towards the Spiderlings' Glen, but Damien had something more important to do than saving Grimnir's family. His own den, the one no one else knew about was probably suffering from the storm, and the teenager couldn't let it's contents wash out and get lost forever. He needed to remember, he needed those bones. He ran east through the rain and the dark trees, thunders cracking loud everywhere, but when he got there there was nothing he could do to rescue his belongings. A tree had blocked the way partially, and the holes that remained open weren't wide enough for Damien to go through. He growled in frustration and tried to move the tree with all his strength. There was nothing he could do. The tree was at least a hundred times bigger than him and there was no way he would move it one inch. He banged the wood with his paw and a roar of anger and decided that he would have to dig the bones out when everything was over.
The rain was getting worse, and the treetops danced above him making the trees crack loudly, threateningly. He had to get out of that place, and the rest of the pack would too if they wanted to survive. The teenager turned around, anger still vivid in his heavy frown, and he sprinted back the way he'd come. The wind, even down below made it hard to move. and the thunders cracking confusing. A crack nearby made Damien turn his head in fear, a tree fell down just a few meters in front of him and he had to skid into a halt to avoid colliding with it. He turned south and kept running, but the flood was moving too far west. Damien could smell it moving towards him, and his only route of escape was further west. He turned and ran faster, felling the flood getting him from behind, his paws submerged in the water until it was too deep to run. He started swimming with trouble and tried to stir south, but the current was too strong and it made him crash into a thick tree, leaving him unconcious, and adrift.
Wow. I think I hadn't written for Damien for too long...

Cyn woke up from her nap to rain pouring down onto her. She hadn't found a place to sleep and decided to stay under a tree the day before. The smell of burnt oak filled her nostrils. This wasn't some ordinary storm, this was going to be living hell. She heard howls in the black night sky. Lusa's was one that really made her get up. She was in danger!
She dashed by other fallen trees and around other obstacles. The map from her resting place to Lusa's den popped into her head."Around here and this way. Through here and then forward." She arrived at the den seeing the mother wolf in pain with her pups by her side."Lusa! Don't worry I'm here." She got closer to Lusa and looked at her paw. This was going to be a difficult escape with an injured wolf.

Arh! So exciting! I couldn't help but to post again! >D
Burke was so busy listening to the howling winds that he hadn't realised that he never got an answer from Damien. The wind masked the howling wolves with its own sound. "Damien?," he asked and then looked around. The black pup vanished. God damn it! He was just like his mother. They used the shadows too well. The tank of a male howled again for the other members. The wind was obscuring his hearing. This was a total chaos! The alpha male raised his head and looked around. Where was Potema? Crap. His fatherly instinct rushed to him. He was quick to think, seeing Damien's tracks into the mud. He wasn't sure if @Cicero was still around but he just spoke to him in case he was around. "Cis, Go to the infirmary I will bring everyone in there. If they are wounded you should help me get them healed," he spoke, vision obscured. He hoped the youngster was there. They would need him now.
Burke then sped after Damien's tracks, making sure to dodge the objects falling down or jump over branches. He was glad that he was in good health. He howled for Damien. "Damn it, Son," he cursed under his breath. He would need Damien's warrior skills to calm the other packmates. Burke's paws started to slip and slide because the mud was starting to turn into water. "Damien!!!," he called out. He jumped in the murky water from a thick log, trying to stand on his hind legs to see better. Why did the damn pup had to have a dark coat color? Burke let out a huff. His large body pushing forward calling out to Damien when he saw something float. Burke rushed forward and grabbed Damien's scruff. Right at that time he heard Lusa's panicked howl. Burke had to do something. He tugged Damien back towards land, half swimming half walking. He reached the thick log that was blocking his path he jumped off before.
Burke let Damien go and with all his power he jumped over the log onto the muddy ground after it. Though his paws slipped and was close to landing on his face. Not that it mattered now. He turned around to pull the youngster over the log. The father was heavily panting as he got Damien on land, though it wouldn't take long for this piece land would also be flooded with water. Burke reminded himself of Lusa. He howled to her that he was coming. Burke used the log to get himself under Damien, hoping this body would stay on his back. Once he thought Damien was stable he tried to get on his fours. He had to hold his head in a weird angle to stop his body from falling as he walked. Burke stumbled his way forward, trying to find Lusa. It was the smell of blood was got him quickly to her. "Lusa!," he let out. Burke was covered in mud and carrying Damien. His pale eyes fell onto her young and then on Cyn. "We have to go to the infirmary. You will have to limp there," he urged and grabbed a pup by its scruff. @Peridot was the lucky one but as he made the downward motion Damien slipped off his back. Burke placed the pup down again and nudged Damien. "This isn't going to work," he growled with his own frustration. His paws felt wetter than before, the water was coming in fast! "Damien, wake up!," he urged, pawing at him. Why hadn't he become a healer?! Now he felt like he hat to choose between saving Damien or the pups from downing. They needed one more wolf. Lusa and Cyn could carry a pup. If they had one more wolf then he could drag Damien to safety while the other carried another pup. "Where is @Grimnir?," he let out.

Ayana couldn't trust her eyes. She had never seen something like this in her whole life. The clouds were pitch black and the rain was clinging to her coat as she tried to run unterneath a tree to get some protection. She was out there alone, she didn't know where to go, the heavy rain washed away all the scents of the others. The only thing she could smell was something moldy or rotten, she didn't know what that was.
A lightning stuck and made her jump. She was scared and her thin legs were shaking. She tried to howl for the others but the wind wa too loud. Suddenly she thought of Lusa and her babies. What if she was in danger? What if someone was hurt? What if ... Lusa was her friend, she needed to find her and make sure she was alright. Ayana, don't be silly. They don't need you. You're a lone wolf, kinda. Lusa isn't your friend. And what if Grimnir is there? He'd kill you! Her mind was screaming, she couldn't figure out what to do. If she could cry, she wouldn't be able to stop in that moment.
After a few minutes she remembered where she was and who she was. She was Ayana, member of the Blackfeather Woods, she was Lusa's friend and she needed to help her or at least make sure she was okay.
She looked around. Her coat was covered in dark brown mud and soaking wet, which made it rather hard to walk. But she needed to.
Ayana started to run as fast as she could. She knew the path to Lusa's den, she had been there a lot to watch the pups grow or simply catch up with Lusa, which made her feel at home although Ayana wasn't too keen on meeting Grimnir again. Lusa was important to her, in a way. She had something about her that made Ayana feel good, as if she was good herself. Which you aren't, Ayana, remember what you have done!, she reminded herself. But now wasn't the time to think about what had happened. Her pack needed her. Maybe. And she would be there to help.
After a while of running to Lusa's den, the light wolf finally reached it. She almost broke down when she saw what happened. Burke was desperately trying to save the pups from drowning while screaming at Damien, who seemed to have passed out.
Ayana let out a deep scream. She needed to act.
She ran up to Burke and looked at him, shocked. She had never seen him so desperate before.
The next second she carried a pup out of the water, it's eyes were closed and it looked miserable. But it was breathing. She gave it a soft lick over the head to try and wake it up.
"Come on, baby. Wake up. I'm here.", she said while looking at Burke, waiting for him to tell her what to do.

Chevalier was up way before his mother was. He was waiting for his papa to come home. A few days ago, him and his siblings started eating small chunks of meat, and now Chev craved it. He knew his father bought back the new food so he now waited by his mother's tail. Expecting the brown blur of his father to come with the good stuff.
Everything was quiet as normal until raging wind blew into the small home. It knocked him off his paws, blowing him onto his back. He whimpered in fright as he heard thunder. What was happening? Why was it suddenly so cold in the once warm den? Even when he tried to cuddle next to his family the icy wind didn't go. He whined loudly as he heard a tree crack and fall in front of the den entrance. This woke up his sleeping mother.
He was seized by the scruff and was bought closer to the sound. He wiggled and cried in protest and fear. Where was she taking them? He was then placed on the cold earth. He immediately crawled in the middle of Peridot and Baldur and licked his sister's ear with his tiny pink tongue. His mother had grabbed him and pushed him out of the den and into the world. This wasn't how he wanted to be introduced. He was cold and covered with dark, sticky stuff. The world was darker than the den. His bright blue eyes glanced around in terror. He was so scared. And when he heard his mother scream in pain, he screamed two. He never asked for this!
Just then, he saw a brown pelt in the distance. Was this papa coming to stop this madness? No. The wolf looked like his papa but didn't smell like him. She smelled more like his mother, so he guessed she was female. Another wolf had came. He was huge. Way much bigger than his father. He was a grey color. There was another darker wolf on top of him. He seemed like he was sleeping. Who would sleep in a time like this?! He watched as the giant wolf took his sister. He yelled as if saying, 'Don't hurt her!'.

Her dream was rather peaceful and calm but something like that didn't last long for some reason. Awaken by a chaoic storm she instantly felt the feeling of chaos. It was exciting at first, what was this energy she was feeling? She wanted to go see what all this was about since she was able to see and hear. She has known this den her whole life she knows it's safe, or that's what she believes. The outside seem to always change and she was curious to know whats out there. She had the energy to try to take a look outside but she was a bit afraid of what would happen if she did. There was no telling what she would be faced with, it was the first time she heard the wind blow like crazy.
Her brother didn't appear to be sharing the same feelings and seemed to be afraid. But mother appeared much more worried about the situation than ever and that scared her. What was more terrifying was that she was pushing her and her brothers through the gap to the outside. The wind was chilly and it was really wet, then also her furs were turning dark and heavy. Now all Peridot wanted was to go back in, it was much better there. She wasn't ready to go outside anymore.
Her way back was blocked by mother that was trying to get through and she was calling for help. What was really going on? Shortly after she heard mother howl in pain and agony which frighten Peridot even more than she was. Her little heart was pounding like crazy that she could suddenly try to run away but what kept her from doing so was the fear of unknown dangers that could harm her.
Mother soon escaped from the gap but something was weird about her leg. Shortly a wolf appeared to help. She couldn't really say that she knows her but she had a feeling that this female has been around here before.
Unexpectedly someone picked her up but it wasn't mother since she was standing over there. Peridot didn't agree to it and was trying to wiggle free but that wasn't working very well. By miracle she was put down again but there seemed to be even more water than before that it was starting to be everywhere. Safe place with was mother! No matter what she had to stay with mother! Peridot was trying to go back to her side by walking quickly if anyone grabbed her again she would struggle to free herself as long as mother was in sight and nearby. She didn't care how hard it was to get among her mom and brothers. Not trying was just giving up the only place she felt secured.

Loud sounds woke Baldur from his usual slumber. He whined at the rude awakening and glanced around. He was disturbed even more as his mother got up. What was happening? Their world inside the den was dark just like it always was, but the ever changing dark and light of the entrance was a mixture of both. There was darkness cut with flashes of bright light. Baldur whimpered at the strangeness, not sure what to think of it.
Unexpectedly his mother began to move him and his siblings towards the monster at the den's entrance. He squirmed in panic, crying out in fear. What was she doing? Why was she giving them to the monster? As she pushed them past the entrance, something began beating against his fur. It was cold, even the air outside the den was cold. His eyes were forced shut by the pounding of the cold wet stuff. Which made him even more afraid.
There was a strange sound as his mother followed after them, a cry from her, and then the smell of blood. Baldur tried to crawl to her past his siblings, whimpering. What had happened to his mom? The ground was gooey and hard to crawl across, but he managed to bump into his mother. He cried out to her, wanting her to pick him up.
He turned to the sound of paw steps and saw a giant wolf appear from the storm. It was even larger than his father and had another smaller wolf on it's back. Baldur attempted to hide beneath his mother from the new monster. But then another smaller wolf joined the first one. The big one picked up his sister before setting her down again as a wolf fell off it's back. The smaller wolf wasn't as scary and began to lick his sister. His eyes, still squinting from the storm, shifted back to the large wolf. What was going to happen to them?

Edit: Missed that Cyn was with them ~ sorry Cyn!
Paws pounded against the ground as Grim dashed through the bending trees of Blackfeather. Flashes of lightning left forks of dark images imprinted in his vision. It slowed his progress a bit. His large head shook in an attempt to rid his sight of the impairment. It seemed that each time the dark spots in his sight began to fade, lightening strikes flashed to thicken them again. He shifted his eyes to the ground, snarling. It was then that he noticed that water was beginning to flood the land.
He had to get to Lusa and his pups quickly. The dark forks in his vision faded away, so he pressed onward faster. Splashes of water from the ground soaked the fur on his stomach while the rain soaked the rest of him. It was uncomfortable. Grim didn't care to be wet. It made him feel heavy and slow. This storm was making him feel extremely uneasy also. This wasn't like the normal thunderstorms that occasionally came through. This was much harder. To make his point, a loud cracking sound split the air. A tree to his right began to groan as it fell. Grim sped under it, stumbling as the tree hit the ground. He glanced back at the tree, pausing for a moment with his ears folded back and his teeth bared. His heart was pounding from the close call. Turning, he left what could have possibly been the end of his life.
He had no more close calls and made it to the den within minutes. At the entrance of the den, Burke was there with Ayana and another wolf. Damien lay limp in front of the brute and his mate was with the pups. Grim trotted over to her, pushing past the wolves, unaware of Lusa's injury at first. He soon caught the smell of blood and ran his amber gaze over his little killer. He saw then what ailed her and reached forward to run his muzzle through her neck fur to comfort her. "Can you make it away from here?" He yelled over the storm, worry in his voice. "You can lean on me while I take the boys." He turned to Ayana and Burke before glancing down at Damien. He figured the brute's paws were filled with his own step-son. Eyes turned to Ayana and the white pup that was near her. "Take Peridot," he told the white tainted female. Even though he did not care for Ayana, this was not the time to fight.
Reaching down, he grasped Chev by the scruff and then tried to pick up Baldur who was trying to hide beneath Lusa. As much as he wanted to deal with both his pups himself, he couldn't seem to hold both of them at the same time. It would be one or the other. He set Chev down by Baldur. Turning to the wolf he did not know Grim asked, "Can you carry Chev?" He would take Baldur then. The one that he liked the most. He was worried that they wouldn't be able to get to safety in time with Lusa's broken leg. But where was safety? Grim assumed Burke had a place for them to go. Hopefully it wasn't too far. He also wasn't sure if he could carry a pup and support Lusa. He turned to Burke asking, "Is there anyone else coming? I'm not sure if I can carry Baldur while helping Lusa." If they had to leave one pup behind then it would have to be Peridot. He didn't believe that Lusa could carry a pup in her condition. So if no one appeared then they would have no choice but to leave Peridot behind.

So much room for drama :U
The water had started to flood his lungs, he wasn't breathing now, and if he wasn't rescued by someone soon he would surely drown and die in the storm. He hadn't seen mother for too long and he would die without telling her so many things.
Luckily, his dark body suddenly was grabbed by a strong wolf who managed to take him out of the flood and back to safety -if it could be called that. He put him on top of his strong back and went out again to help even more wolves. He was no superman for strong as he might be, and it showed clearly when Damien fell off him as he tried to carry a pup.
It made damien wake up with a cough that exploded with water coming out of his lungs. He had been too close to death. His fuzzy surroundings became clearer, the deep voice of his father turning audible. "Damien wake up!" and confused, the teen got back to his senses. There were two new wolves, teh Bolverks and then there was Burke, stressed out and scared.
Damien knew immediately what was going on. They were trying to help Lusa up, she seemed to be injured, and Damien cursed Burke in his thoughts for having brought him there. He did not want to help Grimnir or his family, but now that he was there he had no choice. It took a moment to recover from not being ble to breathe, but they had no time. The mire had flooded and it was closing up on them, and the rain was being too much of a danger for the pups. They had to get out of there.
"Burke, can you help Grimnir with Lusa?" he shouted through the loud rain as he got back on his paws, "I'll take a pup!" he suggested walking closer to Grimnir as if telling him to hand Baldur over. That was the only way. Lusa was too heavy for Grimnir alone, and Burke was strong. Damien was large enough to carry a pup already, and the other two wolves could take another pup each. But it would take for Grimnir to take a vow of confidence on his pack-mate for once. Or else, his family would die.
Sorry I'm late to the party
Dark clouds were forming as Ohen entered his den near the borders, while raging winds whistled in the air. He layed closing his eyes praying that storm would be brief, but only a couple minutes later the sound of trees crashing against the earth sent the dark boy running for his life. One branch nearly crushed him to death however he managed to slip past without any damage. The stench of the swamp reached Ohen and soon everything looked different about his home. The land was flooding, trees were collapsing and he couldn't find any of his packmates. He attempted to howl but the wind prevented him from doing so.
Instead of looking or even worring about his packmates, Ohen allowed his instincts to take over and run. Fortunately it seemed he had run exactly where he needed to be as it seemed most of his pack was here at Lusa's den. He was pleased to see the two crazy witches were not here, but at the same time he wondered if they were even alive. Shaking his head, Ohen was quick to listen in on what was happening. It seemed Lusa was injured and they needed to figure out who was taking a pup. He wondered why his packmates wouldn't just pick up a pup and go, so Ohen decided to show them how it's done.
He wasn't thinking about the possible outcomes of what he was about to do, but just did it. He ran with all his might and only stopped to pick up Chevalier, who happened to be the fortunate pup who would be saved today. Once he had the pup Ohen bolted off towards the eastern borders of Blackfeather hoping there it would be safe. However it seemed no matter how fast he ran, he couldn't outrun the storm. So he never stopped sprinted and held Chev tight in his jaws, possibly even hurting the little guy. Mud clung to his pelt and he was breathing heavy, but he never stopped running.

That's okay! @Grimnir
Cyn was about to obey Grimnir when she saw a black wolf with white on his muzzle dash out and grab the pup that she was going to grab. Her lip went up and a deep dark growl escaped her throat. Her fur immediately sprung up in reaction to the unfamiliar wolf. This made her appear dangerous. She may have spooked everyone else, but this wolf would not get away if it where her decision.

Everything happened so fast. The young knight was starting to be swept off his feet as water surged from beneath him. His little heart started to drum against his chest. Bright blue eyes glanced around. Why wasn't anyone helping him. He was practically drowning!
His heart leaped in his throat as he saw his daddy approach. He had come to stop this! He sqeaked loudly, trying to get his father to carry him. He knew that he would save him, he had to!
But Grimnir wasn't the one to save him. He felt sharp teeth grab roughly at his scruff from behind and his body lifted from the watery earth. Wind pushed against his fur as the wolf started to run. He screamed as loud as he could. He wanted to be by mother, father, and his siblings. But the wolf didn't stop. He kept going farther and farther... not stopping.

Next round starts at Saturday the 25th!
Burke watched as Ayana approached and grabbed Peridot. At least the little girl was off the ground. Burke moved from licking over the pups to keep them warm to nudging Damien who seemed to slowly start respond. Burke had to show leadership now, he was the alpha. Grimnir arrived, thank god he did. Burke watched as Grimnir approached. For the first time he saw a Grim being very different. It was rather refreshing to see. Though Burke disliked that he was giving out orders. The alpha male would accept it for now since it was about his own children. With his mind distracted by Grimnir Burke let out a relieved sigh when Damien woke up. Thank god! He turned to Damien and licked him over his cheek.
Burke would more than happy to help Lusa but before he could respond Ohen came racing amongst them, grabbed Chevalier and ran off again. "Ohen, To the Infirmary!," he called out and then grunted. You don't see the guy for weeks and then he suddenly shows up! Burke did trust Ohen, he was a good guy, so he let him be. "Cyn, Ohen is part of the pack!," he added and then looked around. Ayana had Peridot, Damien had Baldur and Ohen had Chevalier. That was all their babies. Now they had three wolves, including him to help Lusa. He walked to her and looked at her paw. It didn't look nice and Meldresi wasn't here, including Cicero and Potema. Damn it! All their healers gone! Burke calmed his mind. Burke was always calm. They had to get Lusa inside and Burke did know how to use a branch to straighten the bone.
"We need to keep moving. Ayana, Damien, To the Infirmary at your quickest! Keep those babies warm!," he instructed. He then looked at Cyn and Grimnir. "We will carry Lusa to the Infirmary. I won't mind have you on my back, Lusa, but we can also support you while walking," Burke offered. He was build like a tank and was taller than Lusa. He wasn't sure if he could support her while walking but he could give her a ride on his back like he did with Damien but he wasn't sure how Lusa and Grimnir thought about that. Then there was Cyn, maybe she was better on supporting Lusa. Burke could go to the infirmary with the pups, but he wouldn't leave until Lusa gave her answer.

Going to extend this so I have at least three posts in here
The birds flew, closer to the borders, closer and closer, before leaving the vicinity of the woods entirely. Despite that, Potema kept running. There was a chance that they could find a safer place than Blackfeather somewhere else to the south, where it wouldn't be flooded by swamp water of all things, where the trees would not be falling.
She kept her eyes on the flock, watching for any kind of sudden direction changes, and the location of the storm. Again, she wished she had a second eye. The strain of flicking one eye back and forth was tiring. But she kept on. They needed a safe place.
Anyone helping out Lusa can PP her limping beside them :)
Help had quickly come. Almost everyone from the Pack was now at her aid. Ayana took hold of Peridot and Damien took Baldur. Though she would much rather have Grimnir take the pup, she was still contempt. Now all she had to do was grab her little Knight. She stumbled just as water began to get higher. She reached down in attempt to grab Chev, but Ohen had dived in from nowhere and took off with her child. She growled over the storm, outraged by out of all wolves he took him, and had the guts to run out without a word!
She turned her head away from the direction Ohen had ran. She would have to find him later. For now they all had to get to the infirmary. She heard Bruke's orders and his offer to carry her. "I think I can limp there," she called out, "Let's just find shelter!" She limped over to Grimnir, her hind leg raised high off the ground, and let her body lean beside him. She expected that Cyn and Bruke would help her. She looked over to Damien and Ayana and called, "Please, take my pups to safety!" She was a nervous wreck right now. She trusted Ayana with Peridot. She was a good friend. She wasn't so sure of Damien with Baldur and certainly not ok with Ohen taking one of her children. But she had to forget about that.
EDIT: My posts seem to be too slow.....
Damien. The whelp that he had traded unkind words with, woke unexpectedly. The young wolf stood. His first step was in the direction of Baldur. Grim growled at the spawn of Meldresi's. He did not want his best pup to be taken by anyone but himself. If anything happened to Baldur, this pack would pay. He may die in the process of taking his revenge, but he would make sure to take a few with him.
Out of no where, Ohen ran between the group of wolves and took Chev without warning. Grim did not have much time to react, but like the strange wolf, he bared teeth at the disappearing male. That was the one who had attacked his mate. Grim did not trust that Ohen would not harm his pup. Torn between chasing down the male, or staying with Lusa, Grim looked between her and the direction Ohen had disappeared. What did Lusa wish from him? But Burke had yelled for Ohen to go to the infirmary. Grim had no clue as to where that place was. If that was where they were all headed, then he would have to wait and see what would happen to his pup. Grim felt furious at the actions of the male though. As a father it was his duty to protect his mate and pups. He was feeling very much like he was failing them. But what could he do? The brute had once mentioned that if anyone in the pack harmed his pups that Burke himself would take care of it. Grim did not want things to come to that though. He wanted to be able to protect his family.
Looking back at Damien, Grim gave the whelp a dark glance before turning his attention to Burke who mentioned helping Lusa. He again growled. No male would be carrying his mate. "I will support her." That meant he had to give in to Damien taking Baldur. Grim placed a large paw in front of his pup, raising his head above Damien with teeth bared in warning. He snarled and snapped his jaws with rage. But then relectuantly picked up Baldur and slowly placed him in front of Damien, his amber gaze never leaving Damien's. "If anything happens to him, you die." It was a ballsy move, especially with Burke there to witness his words. But he had to make sure his pup would be safe.
Turning away, he asked Lusa, "Can you walk? I can support you." She said that she believed she could limp there and made her way to him. As she leaned on him, Grim leaned into her, nuzzling her with worry. There was too much chaos and confusion going on right now. He felt like he was losing his family among it all.

Cyn didn't like Ohen even though she had only briefly seen him. His presence was what she didn't like at all about him, maybe his attitude would be different. Cyn's fur stayed up and her teeth went away after Burke told her that he was from the pack. She looked at Lusa and Grimnir to see their reactions to the wolf. They seemed to not like him either. Her eyes flared with anger, but she didn't want to get in trouble for showing any emotion Burke didn't like. She was still very loyal to her alphas and the pack."We better get going or we will drown for standing around like this!" Cyn's voice was laced with a small amount of anger. She had to yell to get them to hear her and yelling actually made most of her fury disappear.
She felt useless not being able to help everyone else. She stuck close to Lusa to help her if she needed some even though Grimnir had taken the job. If either one of them needed something Cyn would be there. She assumed Burke would take the lead and show them the way to the safe place. She could hear them talking, but she wasn't listening to the words. Her mind was blank and she stood there staring blankly at the nothing that was there. Her senses could only pick up danger, fire, and rain putting out the flames that the lightning created. Cyn could feel the thunder through the ground. It was like her head had blocked her out of reality to make her feel safer.

Burke was being a good leader. Ayana knew what to do. She wanted to grab Periot softly with her teeth and carry her, but the young white girl tried to get backt to her mother Lusa. Ayana took some time to tell the pup that it was necessary, otherwise the girl wouldn't let Ayana take her to the safe place. "I'm your mum's friend, baby girl. It is fine to come with me, we will always stay near Lusa, okay? But this is necessary, we need to get to a safe place. Now.", Ayana said, giving the white pup a short lick to calm her down.
The thunder was insane, even Ayana was scared, but she didn't have time for that. She needed to get Periot in a safe place. Otherwise the weak pup would die. Ayana had the feeling that Grimnir didn't really care about the white girl. Did she hear him say that she was a disgrace to the family? Because of her coat? Ayana didn't know. She wasn't dark either, maybe that was why Grim hated her.
An extreme lightning struck, which gave Ayana the motivation to follow Damien to the infirmary, which was quite a challenge for her as she didn't know the male. The ground was completely flooded, everyone's coat covered in mud. It was disgusting and Ayana wasn't sure what she was doing there. That's what you get for developing feelings, girl friend. Her mind didn't like the idea of taking responsibility. But it needed to happen. They needed a safe place right now. It was all for the sake of Periot.

Someone got hold of her but she knew it wasn't mother so she protested as hard as she could. When she was put down again it felt like a victory, Peridot turned around to see who dared pick her up. She didn't understand what the large wolf was saying but she understood that the female meant no harm. That didn't mean that Peridot would easily accept being taken by someone she didn't really know. She manage to notice mother and father were together. They were about to move out and naturally she wanted to follow them.
The chaos around her was terrifying yet exciting. There was so much going on that just trying to listen and see tired her out quickly. Not only that but she was wet and cold. In fact she looked like a miserable mess. The excitment wasn't enough to beat the horrible conditions she was in. She wasn't as afraid of the storm as she should be. She wasn't alone but she was more worried about losing the comfort she once had. Her bothers were being taken away to some place in the world that she was discovering right now. But she was getting too tired to really move, she was so heavy with the rain pouring that it just took too much effort. Luckly she was picked up again but this time she didn't really complain. Moving was difficult so all she did was watch and listen. What's going to happen to everyone? What was really going on?
Peridot didn't have any idea of what to expect. But it was getting harder and harder to deal with the cold from the rain and wind. She was starting to shiver. There was nothing she could do right now except try to tough it out. All she thought about was getting back into a warm place and going back to sleep. Just being out in the storm was draining her energy. She was already too tired to think of anything else. Peridot had the will power to avoid passing out but it's only a matter of time before her body gives in to the rough conditions she is faced with.

bwuh, why does stuff always happen when i'm gone :P tried to write cicero into it all as logically as i could :D
When Damien was gone upon Cicero's awakening, the boy did not really wish to come with Burke. He drifted off, his nose following his brother's scent, until Cicero realised that he was on a fool's quest. If he would even find Damien, there was a chance both of them would end up dead. He did not care much for the safety of Grimnir, nor Lusa, who doubtlessly knew what he had done but chose to follow him anyway, and he was not a sap for pups either. Damien was the only wolf whose safety he wished to ensure, but it was soon clear to the boy he could not do more than hope for his brother's safe return to the rest of them.
Upon his return to the rest of the group, Burke had picked up a washed away Damien. Cicero's fur clung to his body too, exposing the bones of his ribcage and giving him a ghastly appearance along with his dark eye sockets and mismatched eyes. "Damien!" he shouted when he saw his brother, and he nudged Damien roughly on the cheek until his brother came to his senses.
Damien offered to take a pup. When Grimnir threatened his brother, an instinctive growl rumbled in the depths of Cicero's throat, but he managed to suppress it quickly. Cicero stared Grimnir in the eyes for the briefest of moments while he promised: "Cicero will go with Damien and make sure the pup survives." Perhaps part of him actually wanted to go with Damien for that purpose: Damien was a dark soul with a penchant for revenge. He might choose to kill Grimnir's pup, would he have the chance, and that would ruin his real chances at true revenge upon Grimnir, in a way he deserved more than losing a pup he barely had the chance to get to know.

A large paw landed in front of him. Baldur squeaked, stumbling backwards. He landed on his back and saw that his father was attached to the paw. He calmed, but then his dad picked him up by the scruff and set him in front of another wolf. He was afraid of this wolf, but he was also curious. Baldur whimpered, looking up at the new wolf. This wolf was much smaller than his father. Baldur sniffed up at the wolf which caused him to cough from inhaling the rain. His face wrinkled up in a scowl. That had not been a pleasant experience.
His body started shuttering softly. Baldur did not understand why. He had not told his body to shiver, but it was uncontrollable. He was cold. Very cold. Another whimper escaped him as he curled up into a ball at the paws of the small wolf. He decided then that he did not care for the rain. It made him feel horrible.

Round Three starts! :D Make sure you have at least Three posts here to get EXP guys! You can check it here
Burke nodded when Lusa told him that she could lip. He took place at her side so she could lean fully against his big frame if she needed a rest or help to keep right. The water was rising all the pups were carried. Ohen better return with Chevalier. The dark male had been so illusive lately that Burke wondered if he could trust the male. Burke sighed at Grimnir's violent demeanor but there was some understanding for it. Burke just started to help Lusa move forward to the infirmary. Wolves were getting agitated and they needed to get going. Cicero came along and Burke was pleased to see the youngster. He let out a sigh of relief. "Thank you, Cicero."
Burke guided the group, the land became dryer under their feet and slowly they came closer to the cave system that laced the ground under Black Feather. Burke helped Lusa inside and placed her down on one of the moss beds. If there was one who deserved a bed it was Lusa. Burke instantly moved back outside again to count everyone who was inside, knowing who was safe and who was not. He was also waiting for Ohen since he didn't seem to have arrived at the infirmary yet. Well damn it.
