Siobhan did not move unless she had to. Fear and pain kept her in one spot until he forced her to move. There had been no outlet of escape for a long time, not in her condition, and the moment she saw the opportunity, she didn’t give herself time to really think it through. The struggle it was to ge away is put behind her, hobbling around on three good legs while her right shoulder screams in pain with every new step. When she does not put weight on it, she is slowed down significantly, and when she does, the pain is constant and bordering unbearable.
There’s little she knows about herbs and plants and even if she did, she did not have time to stop and try anything. She moves from one covering to the next, heading back south the way she came hoping to find something—or someone—familiar to help. Her sides heave as she finds hers immersed into the thick of willow trees, keeping close to the ground and trunks for shelter from sight. The covering is thickened with the afternoon sun beating down. Still, her nose is constantly pointed over her shoulder for any signs he has been narrowing in on her trail.
When she cannot take it anymore, all four limbs burning with an unfamiliar intensity, she crashes to the ground and curls up on the ground next to a trunk where the tree’s branches block her (mostly) from view.

The Wilds had changed. She had left Vengeance to better scout out the lands, and had found faded border where there once had been, new scents and the vanishing of old telling of a new time in Teekon. She had met Slade and heard of his Eden, with no intention to return to his company at any time in the future. It is then she comes across the running girl, drawn to her by the crashing progression she makes through the woods.
It is easy to make this assumption. There are the fresh wounds that litter her pelt. She moves to follow the girl like a phantom, making every effort to remain unseen, unheard. She notes the way the girl looks over her shoulder, as if searching for something. Someone, perhaps. She is tiring, quickly, her fast-paced breath and the heaving of her sides makes this obvious. The woman stills as the girl thunders into the ground as if crashing into it, waiting a moment before scenting the air carefully for any clues it may give her.
It is then she scents an all too familiar scent, and her grin is far from light as she understands just who this woman runs from. She stalks forward, unsure is the male has simply let this woman escape, or if she had challenged him, perhaps. "Think you've run far enough, then?" she asks with eery nonchalance, as if discussing the weather.

She is oblivious to the wraith that follows her, searching for a villainous dark pelt. Her stomach turns and she closes her eyes, lowering her head to the ground. It would be easy to let exhaustion take over, to let herself go for a little while, but she does not feel she is far enough. It hurts to breathe and as she tries to catch her breath, there is little relief. The scent of the other is lost on her as her every part of her burns and all her senses are in overdrive.
Think you’ve run far enough, then?
It does not matter whom the voice belongs to for the chill is all the same as it rattles her spine. Her ears droop low against her head and she turns to see the pale wolf through the thick of willow tree droops and leaves. Her dark eyes search the other woman’s features, wanting to find something she can trust for safety. If anything, it is not the beast that attacked her. “I-I-I—” she starts, stammering over her words. She can’t remember the last time she’d been able to form an entire word.
She clenches her feet to the ground and pulls her form up through the pain, trying to sit herself upright. Her ultimate goal is to stand but she isn’t sure she can hold all her weight up for long. “Can you please help me?” she croaks, finally, in desperation. Her eyes constantly flicker ‘round to their surroundings, hoping to indicate the threat with enough time to react. Though she has not moved much in the last few minutes, her heart still pounds heavily against her chest, constantly on edge as her legs sway beneath her.

there rises in her, unbidden, the delight of watching the woman's ears fold against her skull, her inability to form words. she is still, calm, expressionless, though her gaze sparks with cold mirth. she steps into full view, watching the woman with not even the slightest inklings of empathy as she struggles to rise, limbs unsteady as those of a newborn deer. she stays where she is, watching, waiting, wondering if Vengeance will join the small gathering. Certainly, she looked like a thing hunted, though if this was only in her imagination, she did not know.
Keeping her here, however, was the best chance of Vengeance catching up to them, if indeed he chased the girl. "No." she answered in the same, nonchalant way. She surveys the girl, deciding quickly that she is weak, insignificant. It will be easy to keep her here, she decides.

While he laid there, the woman had managed to get up and make her escape. Despite her fears of not being able to escape, he didn't rise up off the ground until the little thing was out of sight. If there was one thing Vengeance loved most, it was to toy with others who made it easy.
With her blood thick in the air, it was an easy trail to follow. With an elongated gait and a pace just that below a trot, Vengeance followed the scent left behind by the escaped toy into a place that would be a great land to claim for the pack he had in mind - if it wasn't for the neighbouring packs that already laid claim, he would call a meeting here in two new moons from now.
Despite his lack of presence, Vengeance was close behind the black beauty, keeping a steady distance only to close is slowly until her scent became stronger, to what he could only assume she had stopped on her travels and the hunt had come to its closure. Raising his head from being parellel to the ground, sitting high on his shoulders while he approached, rubye yes watching for the woman in the dark forest - only to catch glimpse of the newly appointed captain as her stark white contrasted easier to the forest than the wounded woman.
As he approached, his eyes fell on the woman, Aeronwyn, a smirk teasing his mug before turning his attention on the woman. With a movement faster than a beast his size and weight should be capable, he lunged to place his weight on her smaller body, front limbs aiming to crush and pin her underneath him. I see you've found my new playmate, Aeronwyn.

The woman does not budge when she crawls forward, asking for help, and before she’s given an answer, Siobhan realizes her mistake. The connection the other may have with her antagonist is lost upon her but her even, unaffected no chills her to the bone. Her eyes drain and shock appears upon her features, picking one of her front feet up to try and weasel back. She has to get away from this woman, too, and she hopes it is nothing more than an unwillingness to help. Siobhan opens her mouth to try again but the ground rattles beneath her and a poison instantly courses through her veins.
Her eyes widened as Vengeance nearly appeared from thin air, forgetting temporarily the woman she’d begged help from. She tries to turn and run but she does not get far. A full spin points her in the opposite direction the moment he comes crashing down, causing a flare of pain in her already injured shoulder. She cries out in surprise, crushed beneath his weight that only further inhibited her ability to breath. Siobhan groans, unable to untangle her legs from beneath him, and shrinks into the ground beneath the hellbeast.

Vengeance is not long in coming; she can scent him soon. and then he is there, making for the ebon girl, swift in crushing her beneath him deftly and easily. she watches this all with a wry grin tugging at her muzzle. the girl is no easy, so vulnerable, the shock and fear coming quickly and without much effort on her part. Her gaze does not follow the girl as she sinks below the male, instead rising to meet Vengeance's gaze.
"It seems that I have." she answered with a wry smirk, no formal greeting required, it seemed. she moved near, surveying the woman that struggled on the earth with a sort of curious distaste one might offer a cockroach. a flick of her tail was offered, a sort of bored interest given the girl. "An interesting little rabbit" she mused, naming the girl as such. quick to flee, quick to offer fear and submissiveness and falter in the face of the strong. how rare was it to come across those who showed true fear, true weakness, such as she.

His landing was cushioned by the soft bounce of her body underneath him. The sweet sound of her squealing echoed in the woods around the trio who had gathered, in which he had gotten himself comfortable atop the damsel, allowing claws to sink in at an angle to pinch her flesh. Your fear was easy to follow, fräulein. He spoke in a low tone to the woman beneath him before turning his attention back to Aeronwyn.
I believe I have use of her for us later on. A half assed grin found itself to his mug again at the name given to her by the snowy wraith. A rare commodity she is these days, she would be perfect for the young. Unbeknowths to the two of them, they agreed - to show genuine fear was a rare being of their species these days. Many, including prey, chose to show face and bravery as well as a cocky attitude was far too common. To think she would come in contact with you, I didn't think I'd see you so soon.

His grip goes beyond the pressure. She can feel his nail digs into her skin and the tremor his words cause force a strangled whimper from her throat. She cannot get a full breath in to make enough sound but it would do little. He continues on, this time not talking to her. As everything settles in around her, she realizes the woman had known from the start that had been following her. Had it been a trap this whole time? Siobhan closes her eyes, unable to find any more effort to struggle in her bonds, as they speak of her as if she isn’t there.

she dipped her head in at his judgement of her worth, musing aloud, "What purpose have the weak, other than to serve the strong?" it was a question she hardly expected to be answered. a girl such as this one did have the potential for some sort of use, Vengeance quick to add that she might hold some use for the young. Whether as caretaker or target practise, she did not know, but the woman could effectively fill either position.
"Me neither - but I have no complaint. " she added with a smirk, stalking forward, and watching the girl, with a thoughtful tip of her head. she seemed to have lost all value, become less than a wolf, before her gaze. not that she had much in the first place, but her weakness had her less than deserving of the title or "wolf" in the woman's eyes. adding, as if helpfully, "Perhaps if a limb or two were to be made inutile, she would be less inclined to flee."
The suggestion was made less out of practicality, but more of curiosity; just how much fear and weakness could the woman show?
