A monster entered the words; sicken with glutton and greed, they skulked through the woods, frothing from their mouth in hunger. A wide emerald gaze looked about, seeking for a victim to quench their desires. They can smell it, they can hear it, but where is it? Long limbs trenched through the forest, the large beast slowly made their way around, smelling and looking. At times they widly snapped at the air, it was as if they were deranged. Their fangs caught onto a tree, giving it a snap as the bark ripped off. Crunch, crunch, they savour the wooden feast. But it was not enough. It was never enough for the gluttonous creature. The endless walk to fill the void never seemed to end, and the motions to consume the air was met with nonthingness. The ground, the sky, the tree's, all would be taken in.
To see is to devour
