The wind changed direction and so did he. He wasn't quite sure how he would find this royal female wolf. He didn't have a single clue of where she could be located, not even who she is. Thinking about how he just ran off without details was embarrassing. He tried imagining what she might look like and pictured her infront of him. He bowed elegantly in front of a tree trunk and spoke words loud and proud "Nishu Inte, Knight of.." He paused and remain motionless realising he wasn't a Knight of anything yet. He whispered "hmm.. better try a different introduction." He restarted his bow at the tree but this time he said "My name Nishu Inte, at your service M'lady." He then smiled to himself, That introduction felt much better. He rose up again and started explaining why he was there. "I am a Knight who has agreed to forfill the service request. I will be your closest ally and protecter, I will remain close unless ordered other wise. I will follow all of your orders until my services are no longer required. I will be your guide, your shield, and your weapon until the very end." as he finished he bowed once more then rose again staring at the tree.
Shortly after another strong breeze blew. He ears perked up sensing the direction and then he said "Yes! your Highness!" taking the breeze as an order to go that way. He turned and prepared to march forward once more into the unknown searching for the master who seeks him.
To begin, they needed strong bodies to defend their land, prey and each other. As she padded through an unfamiliar woodland, it was the sound of an unfamiliar make voice that captured her attention. Paarthurnax pricked her tall ears and promptly headed in the direction the noise had come from, to find a strange sterling male as he spoke to... No one?
She looked around. There was not a wolf in sight besides the two of them, and he was obviously not talking to her. When he exclaimed "your highness", she smiled inwardly and pressed onward to make her presence known with a soft wuff of greeting.
Adair had wandered through the lands for 2 days now, admiring, planning, imagining, and finally he felt as if he had seen the most major important parts of the land. But the breeze that had once held no other information, now carried about it the scent of two other wolves. This caught the intrest of the hessian. There were others out here? Who?
Following the scent, pawprints, and sounds, Adair finally saw two other shapes in the horizon, across the meadow.
Padding up to them, one, a warm coated femmora, whos hide was perfumed with not only her own scent, but that of Shadows, and the male, who must have possibly led the female here. Adair had met neither of them. Who could the be?
Only one way to find out.
Adair dipped his large head to the both of them in a humble and gentlemanly greeting, and gazed down at the both of them with a hazelized amber look of friendliness.
"Hello, to the both of you. My name is Adair. Have you both come to explore the soon to be pack lands?"
He couldn't clearly see who it was nor did he dare relax his stance. He waited patiently for a response then a command. He didn't want to risk having a punishment training. He wasn't really thinking at the moment. He was just looking straight ahead. Slowly in his mind he was wondering if it really was his trainer or not. She did always come in the area randomly but did she really follow him all the way here? He continued to wonder but still didn't dare try to make sure. Who was she? Then another voice appeared in greeting. Nishu was starting to doubt that this is a training exercise. He turned just his eyes to see the female wolf, it was not the trainer. He felt relieved but didn't relax just yet, since there was another he did not know. He simply continued his greeting by adding "..and Sir" while maintaining his saluting form. Nishu just wasn't quite sure how to act, he was masterless. So he remained in position waiting for something to happen.
((Ooc: I don't mind at all))
The arrival of another did nothing to set her at ease. She eyed him curiously, uncertain if he too would perform oddly in her presence, but he proved her wrong. He announced his name as Adair, and his expression seemed friendly enough, and intrigued her with his talk of what she assumed to be Shadow's new territory. " I'm Paarthurnax, " the young Frostfur said gently, and fixed her copper eyes to the saluting form of the silver loner. "Is there a reason why you're... Uh... Doing that?"
The words played back in Adairs head, as he looked as the hellion before him. So this was his beloved Paarthurnax? Well, then.
"Pleasure to meet you, Paarthurnax."
Adair's ears swiveled to the wolf who had performed a salute, and he chuckled. Holding a grin on his maw, Adair turned to Paarthurnax. "Tell him 'At ease, soldier', so he may relax, miss Paarthurnax. After all, it seems as if he awaits your command. "
Adair held in the hearty laugh that wished to escape him. He had heard stories of Knights amd kinds and Queens as a pup, but he hasn't thought of them as potentially true.
After hearing the words of the female named Paarthurnax and those of the male named Adair he decided to relax a bit ending his saluting. The female didn't seem understand why he was saluting while the male thinks she is his master. Nishu shook his head saying no to this kind of misunderstanding then said "My apologies, It's been a while since I seen new faces. I've mistaken you as one of my superiors who wanted to catch me off guard." He looked at each wolf starting with Paarthurnax then Adair. He was collecting basic info on their looks and scent which is what a Knight must do when meeting new wolves.
Seeing how Adair knew that he was waiting for a command at that moment then surely that means he knows about Knights, meaning he may know who requested his service. This led to Nishu asking the question to Adair: "You seem to know about us Knights, may I ask if you know any royal female who had made the request of having the services of a Knight? I urgently need to find her quickly." He continued to sit up straight and still while turning his head as he looked between Paarthurnax and Adair. He never realised he forgot to introduce himself since he did his introduction not long ago, but only to a tree trunk.
The sterling outrider had decided to go and stretch his legs again but didn't know he had ventured this far from his territory. He was debating whether or not to explore this forest or to return home when someone made that decision for him. A flare of his nostrils and three scents drifted towards his nose. Two familiar scents and one unfamiliar. Adair and Paar. Immediately his gaze darkened, his muscles tensed as he made his way towards them, whoever that other male was.
He found them along with the stranger male, his head and tail were held high as he moved forward, brushing his flank against Paar as he took up a position in front of both Adair and Paarthurnax, distrust written in his every feature, a smirk appeared on his face, the dangerous glint in his platinum gaze. “Bonum erat ei, si homo scit quid ..." he muttered in his native tongue before staring straight at the male in front of him.
"Your name, soldier?" he asked, his tone matching the smirk on his face but anyone who knew him well would know that it meant danger and if he did not answer correctly, he would be dead or taken captive. He had used the word soldier because back in his natal roman pack, that was how they addressed members. The sterling outrider did not care whether or not he was in his territory or not, if he had did anything wrong to his packmates and family, he'd better wish he was never born.
Uncertain, the bi-coloured medic frowned thoughtfully and as she turned toward the sterling male, but caught a glimpse of another heading their way. Paar quickly recognised the approaching form to be that of Shadow, and she observed quietly as he strode confidently forward and into the heart of the group to address the stranger and promptly took charge. Irritation bubbled within her at once, and she furrowed her brow a little in disapproval. The unknown grey wolf had done nothing wrong, and there was no requirement for his dominant stance. Unimpressed, Paarthurnax remained silent and lingered in the background.
"You seem to know about us Knights, may I ask if you know any royal female who had made the request of having the services of a Knight? I urgently need to find her quickly."
Adair gazed at the young knight with a slightly amused grin upon his maw, but spoke with the gentle tones of an understanding being.
"Nay, I apologize, lad. The only lady who I know is currently the one in our presence. Even though she may not be the one you seek, she's the one who I have sworn my own arms to watch out for, along with the other fellow you see. Perhaps your damsel is in another land, eh?"
Adair propsed with a tilted crown.
The new wolf who appeared seemed more like a leader.. and seemed to already have a connection with the female here. It wasn't really any of his business, the wolf he needed to serve doesn't appear to be here. This female already had some sort of knight so it isn't possible that she requested one. Before leaving to continue his search he felt the need to clear something up.
He rised his head high unhappy to be called a soldier. "Excuse me but I am no mere soldier. They don't even compare to the services of a royal knight. My name is Nishu Inte, Knight of..uh.." He stopped there realising he made the same mistake as before, He had no master yet. He resumed "Well, I'm not just a soldier but it is an honor to meet new wolves" He then whispered to himself looking a bit away wondering which way he should go to continue his search. "Even if they don't know much about us knights."
"Excuse me but I am no mere soldier. They don't even compare to the services of a royal knight. My name is Nishu Inte, Knight of..uh.." The aspiring Praetor knew that Nishu Inte wasn't a mere footsoldier but it was the same to him. They all served, being a royal knight for a wolf was just being like a personal guard and to the sterling outrider, that was still to be considered a soldier. Hell, everybody was a soldier in a way. He tilted his head slightly to the left as Nishu Inte paused, "Well, I'm not just a soldier but it is an honor to meet new wolves"
"Anyone who serves is a soldier, your duties might be different from a normal footsoldier but you too, serve a wolf even if that might be a royal one. To be honest, you're just a personal guard but they use the word, knight to make it seem more professional and to make it look like it was a special job." he stated matter-of-factly.
"May I ask, who is your master?" a faint smirk graced the sterling outrider's lips as his tail swayed nonchalantly, piercing platinum gaze locking into the other's eyes.
When the strange male announced his dissatisfaction at having been dubbed a soldier, Paarthurnax' frown deepened. She blinked, uncertain and suddenly extremely uncomfortable as her other two male companions continued to enable the oddball's freaky idea that he was some sort of royal servant. Rolling her eyes, the bi-coloured beauty inched forward to bump her muzzle to Shadow's shoulder, then look upon the apparent knight with an unusually blank expression. "I'm sorry, but..." she made to exchange a glance with her leader, "this is ridiculous."
She moved away from him then, eager to remove herself from the scene, and in doing so she dipped her muzzle briefly and respectfully in Adair's direction. Paarthurnax started in the direction she'd originally come, intent on heading back to Noctisardor Bypass and leaving the circus behind her.
Adair glanced between Shadow and the wolf who had shown himself tp be the servamt of another. Maybe he was one of the Nereides? Was he looking for his leader, and would she happen to be of the Amazons? He knew nothing of the customs that the femmoras held to their beliefs, the strange ones.
Then he turned to the hellion who emmitted her uncomfortability through her pores. The ice flare pelted female who had confusion and uncertainty etched onto her clear cut face. He watched as she spoke between the other two males, and he understood why she was uncomfortable of the situation.
She spoke of it as ridiculous. Adair chuckled softly after he had heard the words. And after she had given him his fairwell, he had watched her pad away, as lithe as a falling leaf from a fall tree, and she had vanished back to the lands Shafow and He had already explored.
Adair turned his attention back to his soon to be Alpha,, and murmured
"I will take my leave, as well, Shadow. I have lands to the east of the Bypass that I must ensure are safe for the future rule. " Adair gave a light dip of his head to the sterling wolf, and to the knight, he spoke.
"I do hope you find your headmistress, Nishe. She must miss you, quite so, laddie."
And the massive brute dipped his head,, turning, and made for the east.
He shouldn't lose his cool here, even if masterless there's things he shouldn't do yet. Treating them like enemies or allies wouldn't be right. He felt the need to get out before the situation gets worse. The others were leaving, might as well do the same instead of wasting time with these fools he thought. "I guess we are all wasting time here, we best be on our way to follow our duties." He said as he rose to start his search again AND ignoring the question that was asked. He finished with one last phrase before leaving "Even if some have nothing better to do."

Ooc:(Interesting first thread, might as well end it around here)

He shrugged, he had better things to do than talk crap with a useless wolf that thought himself as the guard of royalty. Royalty did not exist, there were leaders, Praetors, Emperors that ruled but they were not royalty. As far as he was concerned, this was bullcrap and he had no time for this. A faint smirk graced his features as the so called 'knight' turned and left.
The silver wanderer flashed Adair a look before turning around to make his way back to the Bypass. There were no words that were needed to be said between him and the brown male. There was nothing to be said and he was content to leave. Adair could just continue with whatever he was doing.
