aaachooOOOOO
the familiar strains of a hay fever victim rang through the empty meadow like a broken record. a sneeze here, another there. ahh, the joys of nature. he snorted up the loose mucus dripping from his nose before proceeding to hack up a wad of phlegm and spit it a good two feet away. not bad distance, might be a new personal record.
specks of pollen continued to violate his personal space like that annoying relative we all have and create a symphony of sniffles as he made his way across the pasture. he paused to rub irritated eyes and nose, another sneeze escaping him followed by a sigh of discomfort. what a miserable hand to be dealt in life.

Poor Andrealphus! Don't worry about matching length. <3
As much as Moy loved her siblings, her plans were greater than joining together under a canopy that once gave their parents shade. She needed distance to think, room to roam, and her paws took her to a flowering prairie southeast of their meeting place. She had missed the scent of her sisters on her fur, but it was only one part of what made Moy smell like Moy; she needed the pleasant aroma of pollen, too.
Moy stretched and flopped down in the prairie grass. She must have interrupted the path of a bumblebee, the tiny creature bumping off her shoulder with a startled buzz before flying off in search of more flowers. The summer blooms would decay and drop off from their stalks, but for now their sweet, earthy scent tickled Moy’s nose.
She craned her neck to smell the furthest flowers, and then rolled over top of them so she could take their fragrance with her. The world spun around her for a hare’s breath — blue sky, green grass, and rainbow wildflowers blurring together — before she settled again. Petals and crumpled leaves stuck to her fur.
Moy laughed lightly and rested her head on her paws. It was nice to relax in the warm sun on an easy, breezy day, even if she was a little dizzy.
A nearby sneeze drew her attention east, and she peered over the grass to see who it was. His coat was painted in pale browns and grays, and save the watering of his honey-colored eyes, he was pleasant to look at. Every wolf was a stranger here, save for her siblings; at least this was a handsome one.
Moy chuffed playfully at him, disappearing back beneath the prairie grass as soon as she thought he spotted her.

it was difficult to smell anything among the flowing blades of grass with a leaky faucet for a nose. he was blissfully unaware of the company he shared, up until the sound of a playful greeting bounced off his ears. he sniffled, bloodshot eyes scanning the immediate soundings for any sign of the chuff's owner.
a dash of silver caught his attention as it disappeared amongst the grassland. he took a step towards his mysterious visitor only to be abruptly halted by yet another sneeze. a thick, slimy strand of mucus hung from his nose, and he quickly raised a paw to wipe away the discharge. soooo attractive.
unbothered by his now snot covered paw, alphus took a few cautious steps towards where he last saw the splash of cloudy fur, red eyes alert for any sudden movement.

Sorry for the wait! Have some silly Moy <3
Moy bit her lip to stop from laughing, her canine tooth poking out from the corner of her mouth. She almost felt bad for teasing the poor male but there wasn’t any malice in her mischief; she just wanted to have a little bit of fun.
To that end, Moy stretched and pressed her chest to the earth. The tip of her tail waved above the stalks like a black-tipped plume of grass seeds, a clear gesture of “Look at me! Look at me! Aren’t I interesting?” No wolf could ignore such a curious sight, no matter the sniffles in his nose!
Moy snorted into her paws and listened for approaching pawsteps. If the male came within a tail’s length of her, she intended to dart to the left and bound past him; maybe she could provoke him into a game of chase! Or some sort of game anyway, if he was too under the weather to run gaily through the meadow grass.

her tail was a flag atop a mast in a meadow sea. it stuck out as a beacon, one that was particularly difficult to miss. so it was to be a game then, huh? so be it, he would play.
he lowered himself beneath the blades of grassland, his nose hovering just above the earth's surface. he slunk himself closer to where her tail had last been seen, and then readied himself to pounce. like a cat, his backend wiggled in excitement and his tail twitched with anticipation.
he tensed muscles and then! ACHOOO. any attempt at a surprise attack was halted by the swift act of a sneeze. he swore he heard mother nature laugh in the passing gust of wind. he let out a sigh and disappointed huff as he returned to a relaxed posture, head back above the grass and scanning the scenery for any sight of where his company might have gone.
