Osprey hated to be the bearer of the bad news. While she watched, how Crete grasped the harsh reality, she wished very hard never to be in the same situation again. There wasn't much she could say, there were no words of consolation good enough to alleviate the pain. Tears filled her eyes and she leaned against Crete both to seek some comfort in his presence, as well as to remind him that he was not alone. That she was there for him, that they were in this pit together and they would get out of it too. For a better and happier future.

"So..." she decided to change the subject after a while. It wouldn't get any easier if they continued to wallow in grief for their mother, even though it was a wound that would heal over a long time. "... what is this place like?" Osprey cast a curious glance around and then focused back on her brother.
