Copper was patrolling as usual, when he came upon Bindi. She was sitting asleep on the border, even. How careless. He trotted up to Bindi, sniffing down at her.
"Hey." He whispered, a bit huffy.
"Hey!" He was now quietly screaming. he wasn't mad, but Bindi needed to get back to a den, fast. Copper sighed. Everybody in the pack had problems. Raissa was obviously sad, but who knew why? Bindi was hurt, and Copper was still delirious from his sickness, and the medicinal herbs, new cadets were coming in every day... The list went on and on. And Copper couldn't deal with it. Spring was coming, and with the shedding of his winter coat, he realized he had lost a lot of weight. Was he better off as a lone wolf? No, he had connections here, and he wouldn't jeopardize them with a little sickness, or loyalty swing.
Copper then realized he had zoned out, and shook his head to reanimate himself. Copper felt like an old wolf, forgetting stuff almost as quick as he dreamed them up.
