They were something of an odd pair. Peregrine, tall and rugged with dark pelt, and Fox, very small and strikingly red. But Luke found the contrast fetching. As Peregrine introduced him to her, he bowed his head and his smile broadened, his tail wagging behind him as usual. "I can't imagine where you got your name," he joked warmly as Peregrine left to hunt for them both.
