Blackfeather Woods our quiet drama[m]

Her grin makes him smile slightly. Her kisses make that smile widen. And then she voices what he cannot. His dear little killer admits that she thinks she loves him. Grim drags a tongue over her face in a kiss filled with affection. She is brave to be able to voice her feelings.  A sadness touches him at the thought that he can't yet say the same. He tries to make it up to her by saying, "It's Grim to you, but only you can call me that." He was the only one who called himself that. It made him seem darker to himself. Like a secret he never shared with anyone. So then the only one close to him should know it as well. It is a poor substitute for voicing his own feelings towards her, but he can't bring the words to his lips. Grim lays his head on her, pulling her close, and then closes his eyes, feeling quite happy. There will be a lot of good things coming his way by being with her. A lot of discovering who he is. And a lot of 'firsts' for himself. Like his first play fight, his first feelings towards someone, the first one able to calm him, and the first wolf to call him Grim. He drifts to sleep, wrapping himself around Lusa's body and mumbling, "My little killer." His dreams will be filled by her.
