Tarquin had not been so entirely focused upon his task at hand that he did not intercept the footfalls that approached, minimizing the distance between them with each press of paw against the spring softened earth with a twitch of his ears to either side of his skull before they thrust back to the curve of his crown, attentive. His steps had not slowed, nor ceased until the Nova Peak alpha male, Scimitar — also the one that had accepted him into their fold — came into the view of his sharp, golden eyes. The cease of Tarquin's own footfalls was gradually, acknowledgment of the other male's rank given as Scimitar addressed him. It came as a slight surprise that Scimitar had remembered his name, for half of his siblings hadn't even remembered it studiously determined to call him awful and childish nicknames in placement. No doubt born of their jealousy due to how he was spoiled ferociously. An advantage to being the last child of Isi, conceived shortly before he passed away. 

Tuning those thoughts out, Tarquin refocused his attention back upon his new leader as Scimitar inquired after his well being. “Well,” The DiSarinno-Frostfur replied with a casual shrug of his shoulders. Thus far he had no reason not to be: Nova Peak was not disappointing as far as aesthetics went, and thus far leadership did not seem to dissapoint. “I was just admiring the aesthetics of the Peak and it's inner territories,” The charismatic male offered with a charming smile, though this was spoken in honesty. Memorizing the landscape, enjoying aesthetics ...it was all the same thing. “How about you? And the expecting mother, is she well?” Tarquin did not know Bazi and likely would not get the pleasure to meet her for some measure of time but such a thing came as no surprise to Tarquin and therefore did not bring with it any sort of offense.
