"Oh my" sounded wrong on Potema's ears. It sounded casual, something her mother would say sarcastically to something she or her brothers had done. It was not the proper response to what she said, at least not to her. But she didn't let this strange disgust show on her face; she was trained to have a mask after all. "A month ago."
